I think I aimed to high with ten dishes plus sauces, garnishes and accompaniments... lol. New aim:just don't burn anything

Well, it is now 8:00am Boxing Day. I stayed the night at my sister's place and I feel very drained. The whole time I've been here, all I've longed for since i got here is to return home to blissful solitude.

Even socialising with family drains me, especially since we haven't been on the best of terms lately. I didn't want to be false and pretend everything's alright like they seem to want to. Mum kept telling me to be happy and to smile. I've found it a very unenjoyable and tense Christmas.

I just want to go home and be alone.
