No, maybe it's more a part of my OCD but time accuracy has always been important to me. If ever I've got to be anywhere at a certain time, I always make sure I'm there on time to the second. I've always been like that. If you say you're going to do something or be somewhere at a certain time, you do it!

oh, to be sure I strive to avoid flakiness in general regarding commitments with people, I will be there at the agreed-upon time, but not EXACTLY to the second, generally a few minutes earlier to give myself some wiggle room. I hate being rushed.

Yes, just was passing through the thread and noticed auntblabby's avatar which, if I'm correct comes from an episosde of the twilight zone?

I Do! The only problem is I don't have anyone to say it to except myself. Oh well, I'll do :D

Why do I always feel the need to synchronise all of my clocks to the absolute millisecond to the atomic clock at the CSIRO, NSW?

It's not a hassle. I love being so accurate but I think it's indicative of something. Don't know what! Does anyone have any clues?

Is my need for accuracy a part of my 'condition'? Is this need to have my clocks set correctly to the millisecond part of having Asperger's?

I ACTUALLY WANT A REPLY TO THIS!!

I also have this need of extreme accuracy, attention to detail I believe

By George, I think you've nailed the head on the... nail? What's that expression? You know what I mean!

I think that's it!

yes, the episode was "night of the meek" which was one of I think 6 episodes to be shot on monochrome quad videotape rather than the usual 35mm film stock, which gave it an unusual "live performance" quality. I much preferred that to film. the actor was art carney [RIP] playing the character "henry corwin," a down on his luck and somewhat dissipated department store santa who finds a curious kind of redemption at the end. one of my fave episodes of the twizone.

I actually don't live in this world.

People talk to me about 'current affairs' going on in the world and it's very obvious I have no idea what's going on in the world! (because I don't ever watch TV or listen to the radio. Had enough of people through the day) I tell them the truth (as I always blatantly do). I don't care about what's happening on Terra.

People mention celebrities and I don't even know who they are. I may have heard the name but I don't know their face let alone who or what they are!

It can be embarrassing but I find my default way of being quite liberating because that's just another way that I'm different.

I wouldn't want to be like everyone else!

I believe Heaven is the IDEAL PLACE where humans can aspire to go (through HONEST deeds! Not those deeds done because you want your reward in Heaven)!

I also believe animals are not deprived of this privilege (and are more likely to get there than us, simply by their nature!)

I'm not going to get into a "Man is..." rant but I've got to admit,

This is Karen (I named her after a Cougar out of a movie! :) )

Image

if I hadn't intervened when that ranger was going to shoot my Karen (the Cougar), she'd have been dead meat and do you know how hard it is to get a live Cougar to Australia? Bloody Hard Mate. You need:

* all sorts of Licenses (that aren't easy to get! You basically need to be a qualified Park Ranger to qualify for the Licenses! She aged one and a half years before I got her to her home! (She's not living in the Bankstown District, let me tell you :D NO WAY would I be allowed to keep her in a suburban area. She's on my Cousin's place out at Dubbo :D ));

* Quarantine nearly killed her;

* Special requirements about where I keep her;

* The amount of land on which I need to keep her!;

* The restrictions on the height of the fence that needs to be AROUND HER AT ALL TIMES!! (for obvious reasons :roll: );

* 'How far away' form any building she needs to be away from (especially inhabited ones :roll: )

* What and how often I need to feed her (to keep her full - mind you, she wouldn't hutr a fly intentionally.)

* How I deal with her excrement (Yuck!)

* How I keep her quiet at times of night when she goes berserk (as Cats tend to do at night - "Maybe she's chasing rats out there!")

* Get 12 monthly "Home Visits" from a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to give her a 'routine examination'!

* etc.

My mate who lives 1 street away (whom I've know since I was about 4 years old) used to have a pet Joey (baby Kangaroo). His three "TOUGH" dogs were all scared s#itless of it. They didn't know what to make of this thing jumping around the backyard and used to run and hide.

It used to sleep in a hessian sack hung up on the back of his back door.

wow :o that's some big kitty you got! :wtg: do they purr? when kitty is happy, how does kitty express said happiness? do they make any noise akin to a "meow" [albeit a baritone one]? reminds me of that old twilight zone episode "the hunt" where this fella takes his coon out huntin' and ends up on the road which borders both heaven and hell, and he has to decide which one is which as they are not labeled. his coon remains his loyal companion throughout, of course.

She was already here! I have no idea where she came from or how she got here! I was down by the Nepean river fishing with a mate when it all went down!

In Australia, we get a lot of illegal animal trade here (both in and out - birds, snakes, Cougars obviously :roll: ). In one of my past jobs, I deported a crim who served time in Parramatta Jail for importing live animals. It's disgusting the fatality rate on those poor birds stuffed into those cardboard tubes - all for money! Bloody NT's.

I'm in the process of getting another one. A partner. This is where the costs are coming into it.

I'd like to start a park
