No, I prefer a Bow! 70 lb Bear bow!

Can bring down a Grizzly (if we had them here in Australia! It's also good at shooting plastic bottles :) )

THAT I do in the Bankstown District - It's legal!! Not Cougars!

Ever since "Crocodile Dundee," there's been a mystique about the Outback.

Do ya think?

The only two good bits I remember about Crocodile Dundee were when he found out that 'sheila' was a 'bloke';

and ...

"That's not a knife!" [Pulls out a much bigger, more dangerous looking knife] "Now, that's a KNIFE!"

What?? A Subaru Crocodile Dundee? Don't think I'd like to ride in one of them. Besides, it's probably evading road tax (In reference to Paul Hogan being under investigation on tax fraud matters! :) )

like any Subaru, it is equally well-suited off-road or on-road. they are made to take what off-road-ness you can dish out to it.

but the ultimate in off-road comfort for those with deep pocket$ would be the land rover range rover.

I learned to drive manuals in Outbacks. Colorado buys tons... Fun cars are they, although most are a bit underpowered. Mostly torque... Australia is lucky, you guys get the dual-range transfer case models! My god I wish they would sell the 3.6R with a 6spd! I wanted a 2.5XT with a 5MT for a while but they're not really as efficient as the Volvo V50 I settled on. I love Japanese engineering but Sweden's just amuses me more I guess.

Anyways I just popped in to say Shirow Masamune is Anime God, in case nobody inferred that from my avatar.

i was looking through my sophomore year HS yearbook when at the very end of the sophomore's class pictures, i saw someone whose facial features would make a good candidate for a pre-transformation holyhedirsae.

all we need now is a heavy collared jacket and to figure out some anchor points on the face.
______________

therapy session ended a bit early today. near the end when i was finishing up a game of sorry (very simple game it is) some girl barged in, taking me a bit by surprise. she proclaimed that she was having a mental crisis and she needed someone to talk to and everyone else she went to had someone else. that brought an end.

i can't say i haven't been in that emotional position before (from what i could pick up anyway) but i never outwardly proclaimed that i was having a 'mental crisis'.

i hope it all works out for her. OTOH, i was rather glad to escape my shrink - those therapy sessions were forced upon me and i cannot change or get rid of them. without looking back, i bade my shrink adieu with a loud and clear "shalom"!
