why can't I turn off the BBCode? there used to be little check boxes beneath the post window that would let me select on or off. they're gone. why?

Auntblabby, if you go into your account settings, it's in there under "Board Preferences" -> "Edit Posting Defaults".

thank you. but under the old WP one used to be able to do those things "on the fly." I was trying to illustrate to another member how to post pictures but with the BBCode turned on that was impossible.

yeah, it gets cumbersome to have to go to the UCP every time.

but, even with it turned on you can use these "code" tags to demonstrate how to use bbcode:

Code:
[b] efrat ben zur, or other example [/b]

hope this helps both parties :)

Here's my other cat. It's not a Cougar. She's a beautiful black Leopard!

People keep telling me 'She's stuffed!' but I think she's alright!

She doesn't move much though. Maybe she is stuffed!

Deactivated my facebook account yesterday, gave my mother a scare because she also tried to call me while I was sleeping and assumed the worst.

I used to sleep with her but she's too much of a bed hog so she's been demoted to the lounge. I still cover her up in case she gets cold!

I can feel a new Special Interest coming on :D

This is how it happens. Something comes out of the blue, it strikes a chord with you and suddenly, you're besotted with it. THAT'S how it happens!

I think we are witnessing a Special Interest in the making.

Did you know that Cougars (Puma concolor) are also know by up to 40 different names in English including Puma, Mountain Lion, catamount, painter and panther? They're all the same creature. Of all us animals, the cougar is the animal that has the most amount of names!
