findng out most of my history tutorial is pro-choice. one of the males was particularly vocal about how it was every womans right to be able to choose what to do with her body. eating too much chocolate. my comrade appologised to me for arguing over me. i dont understand why he felt this was wrong but its nice he was trying to be considerate.

You're a rock fan too?? All those bands I made bold are ones we have at least a few songs by at home.

Metallica headlining was one of my first guesses. Oddly enough one of Accountant guy's fave bands, but he doesn't appear to be interested in going.

I got to speak to a staff member about that girl who hangs around and tells people what to do. The person that I talked to said that she's the one who needs to do more for herself and I do a lot of things for myself. :)

same sex marriage rally went well despite my fears of numbers being greatly reduced because of the weather. the speaker from the maritime union was great (Paul Macaleer, Sydney Branch Secretary ). i've seen him speak at stuff before. he really is fantastic as an orator. my job was donations and i collected a whole lot. my talent seems to be parting people from their money. the post rally meeting went well and was interesting. i guess it couldnt help but be considering the topic.
the topic was made to feel more relatable in light of what happened at another demo on that day for same sex marriage in another state- it got attacked by the christian right and it was the same sex marriage rally organiser that got fined for directing chants at them. fracking cops.

edit: my comrade just sent us an email telling us how much money we raised! together me and one other comrade collected $1403.40 in donations!! !!high five us! how awesome are we!!?

oh and i forgot that south australias premier has said that it will be enacting marriage equality legislation if federal government fails to deliver. the campaign is really moving forward. it's going to be an exciting few months.

there was a rally in lebanon to protest the use of anal probes to prove homosexuality and vaginal examinations to prove virginity in light of recent events. the placards made me laugh. “Honorable minister, before you test my vagina, at least take me out to dinner,” and "get off our arses" were my favourite. i wish i were there so, so much.

i think i found some of the lollies that the kids in grave of the fireflies were eating at a shop at the train station. i will need to verify this.
also i got my quiz results back and i got 10/10. i didnt study or do the readings. i dont know how this happened. the mean was 7, the lowest score, 3. i probably failed the one i just did so the universe can balance it out.

There was a ton of vintage My Little Ponies at the thrift store today. Needless to say, I bought them all and they are being proudly displayed in my room.

I also bought a fluffy plush unicorn from the same store for cuddling purposes. My mom named him Marshmallow.

Today was a good day to be a Brony. 8)
