Eddie Izzard is a British cross dressing comic. Though I haven't seen him doing the cross dressing thing since the 90s. He's been in quite a few movies. My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Oceans 12, and the upcoming Oceans 13 to name a couple. Also in the new TV show "The Riches".

Absolutely hilarious man.

At local taverns, pubs, and bars, people drank from pint and quart-sized
containers. A bar maid's job was to keep eye on the customers and keep
the drinks coming. She had to pay close attention and remember who was
drinking in "pints" and who was drinking in "quarts," hence the term
"minding your "P's and Q's."

Evergreens, because of their long life span and their needles' year-round exposure to pollution, are the most vulnerable trees to air pollution.

In 2005, Turkey introduced the New Turkish Lira. It helped cut inflation in that country to under 10%.

The Beatles played the Las Vegas Convention Center in 1964. Some 8,500 fans paid just $4 each for tickets.
(That would, BTW, be about $16 today.)

When baby opossum are born, they are so small that an entire litter can fit in a tablespoon. They live inside their mother's pouch for three months before climbing out and riding on her back.

Are there opossum where you live?

Sports historians have traced roller skating to the early 1800s when an unknown Dutchman sought to find a warm-weather equivalent to ice skating. He decided to attach wooden disks to shoes; after a short period of refinement, roller skating became a popular pastime in Holland. The sport attained even greater popularity among the North American public with the introduction of the steel wheel with ball bearings.

The USN airships Akron and Macon were flying aircraft carriers - fully capable of launching and retreiving airplanes whilr in flight.

Dunno if opossums here but certainly about 1500 feet lower, and nearby.

The dog and the turkey were the only two domesticated animals in ancient Mexico.

The Groucho Marx "stupid disguise" glasses/nose/mustache were a cheap knockoff of Civil War era prosthetics to cover battle damage.

Wow, that's actually interesting.

Dancing sensation Ann Miller began her Hollywood career at age eleven. With her vibrant personality, shapely legs, and flawless tap dancing, won a seven-year contract with R.K.O. at the age of thirteen, although the studio thought she was eighteen. Miller was so remarkable that by age fourteen, she played Ginger Roger's dancing partner in Stage Door, which started a film career that spanned 20 years. Miller appeared in more than 40 films.
