The oxidized paint on the hood of my 2002 VW Passat which I purchased new, but let bake in the Martian, oops wrong planet, er New Mexican sun. So I went to the local O'reilly's and bought a whole bunch of car care products and started triage on my neglected ride, let the new obsession begin

Me in front of my shiny new/old aspie wagon, which I am now obsessed with, all over again, the old girl sure shined up nice and perty.

I have also been tuning up the astonishingly powerful (as well as being perfectly maintained) 1.8 turbo engine, also I was able to order this wagon with a manual transmission so its fast, real fast. I totally plan on driving this thing 10 more years at the very least.
