I like the "sniper scene" in Fury Road.

Max has never been shown to be a good shot (probably why he loves his short double barrel so much).

He's got 3 rounds in an SKS with a scope and makeshift mount. He misses two. Furiosa comes up behind him and watches over his shoulder. Max gets the hint and passes it back. She uses his shoulder as a rest.

Max gets the buzzing in his ear after the shot (nice detail).

Hell, I'll just post it; I like when they show women being able to shoot, because they can shoot as well as men.

Sometimes I could just tell some of my "so-called more open-minded than thou" friends this:

I am, unbelievably tired

I like how my college treats the word "prerequisite" as just a soft suggestion. Im taking a class this semester and next semester that have prereqs I don't fulfill so that I can fulfill the prereqs for summer field camp by taking these classes.

Who the hell makes up these expressions anyway?

I think it might be a corpse with a suntan.

They should say "you look like bread warmed up" for if you look a bit toasty.

Oh I can't even begin to tell you how hungry I am.

Waking up in the morning time and not knowing where the hell you are isn't half as exciting as it sounds.

Day 8 and a half:

A glass of wine works like a sleeping pill.

I don't know why it's so important to me, when I move into a new place of abode, I pull out my compass and see which way the place is facing.
