I like the "sniper scene" in Fury Road.

Max has never been shown to be a good shot (probably why he loves his short double barrel so much).

He's got 3 rounds in an SKS with a scope and makeshift mount. He misses two. Furiosa comes up behind him and watches over his shoulder. Max gets the hint and passes it back. She uses his shoulder as a rest.

Max gets the buzzing in his ear after the shot (nice detail).

Hell, I'll just post it; I like when they show women being able to shoot, because they can shoot as well as men.

Sometimes I could just tell some of my "so-called more open-minded than thou" friends this:

"A little people knew of the daily illusions in life,
Is the biggest illusion of all, yet easily overlooked.
Assuming all of them think alike and think the same,
They're only seeing masks, a mask to please.
To survive the said illusion, but many are so unaware;
That this grandeur illusion, yet ALL unknowingly indulge."

I'm so clueless...

I like how my college treats the word "prerequisite" as just a soft suggestion. Im taking a class this semester and next semester that have prereqs I don't fulfill so that I can fulfill the prereqs for summer field camp by taking these classes.

"You look like death, warmed up!"

Who the hell makes up these expressions anyway?

I think it might be a corpse with a suntan.

They should say "you look like bread warmed up" for if you look a bit toasty.

Waking up in the morning time and not knowing where the hell you are isn't half as exciting as it sounds.

Day 8 and a half:

In my quest to defeat thine enemy, I partook in some informal but serious target practice; I failed. 4 out of 5 hits at 50 yards (.22LR 40 grain LRN); I must do better:

O, and if anyone is interested, I'll gladly sell my mouse artwork with bullet holes in it.

I'm thinking...$5 ($500 is also welcome)?

(Yes, that's me poking fun at people who do such.)

:P

I don't know why it's so important to me, when I move into a new place of abode, I pull out my compass and see which way the place is facing.

I'm starting to find, North-facing homes are the most harmonious!

And try to sleep with "your head facing West! That's the best!"

Sleep however you want. I'm just saying, through a careful amount of investigation, both in RL and over the Inet, I've come to the logical conclusion, those who sleep with their heads' pointing West, were the happiest and most well adjusted people!
Co-incidence?
