Fine, give us the "cold" shoulder then

Pretty sure I'm "hotter" than you right now.

But seriously, how is the hot or cold? fever going? I had to visit the doctor today to get my thumb checked out, going to have to see a hand specialist in October for surgery most likely.

Watching a Korean TV show, and I see one of the cast members wearing a New Zealand Warriors cap.

Outstanding.

The newsreader in the North Korean tv news is worth watching. I can't understand a word but she really must be a party member.

I was watching Running Man and I saw Kim Jong Kook wearing a Warriors cap. I like watching The Return of Superman, as well. I'm learning Korean atm, so it helps me practise what I've learned and helps me learn new words. Plus it's nice hearing native speakers talk in natural, rather than textbook, Korean.

All media in North Korea is controlled by the state. And yeah, that newsreader has a really militant way of speaking. The North Korean accent and some of the vocabulary they use is kinda interesting, too. I like listening to them speak as much as South Koreans. I even learned both their national anthems. :P

Yeah..I prefer learning foreign language through Youtube where I can hear native speakers in natural talking as well.. Text book is only good for basic grammars. I hope you enjoy your learning!!

Whatever else we may think about North Korea, they certainly know how to organize top quality military parades. Watch. (Remember to stand)

Permit came (thanks, Caesar).

I guess I'll mosey on to the gun shop to pick up the .308 sometime soon.

I'll also need:
- a couple of 20 round boxes of .308 FMJ and a couple of JSP (150 grainers for both)
- scope rings; thinking high mount due to it being muh dedicated long range rifle
- need some 12 gauge BB loads (small game and last resort snake defense) and some more 00 buckshot

I'll get a scope for it and possibly a bipod at a later date when I have more money; I'll sight it in then. No hurry. I'm more interested in exploring at the moment (where the 00 buckshot and BB loads come in).

(They have a pretty good outdoor/hunting section and all that related gear, which comes in handy for hiking, but I'm fine in that regard.)

On that note of things I need, I think a prospector's pick is the only real tool I'm missing that would be pretty good to have.

.. Sometimes I have to tell people that I learned that it's rude to play water in someone else's house.

This is not a dress. It is the standard vampire outfit. Dress to kill! Bleh! :skull:
