Oh, it did (get them clean) the way I did it. Boiling hot, soapy water and thrashed it around with a stick. I kind of liked the old rustic feel to it but it was extremely labor intensive and painful.

A woman at work (jokingly) said to me, I should get a washboard and I responded with, "I don't think you can buy them anymore." before I realised, she was joking. I felt like such an idiot! /* Another Aspie Moment */ The look on her face was Golden!

Ho Hum!

Good morning Edna - nice to hear from/see you again! :)

What are your choices? Hopefully from riches or fame!

Not that I care about fame (or riches, for that matter)

So now I know why I've ALWAYS LOVED THEM! It's a stim I never knew I had! I've always know I've stimmed but I never knew my love of 'sparklies' was another form of stimming. I just knew I loved them. Snow Cake opened my eyes - I am so much like Sigourney Weaver except I can function in the real world but inside, we're just the same - childlike - innocent - and all animals love me!! ! - That's the best part. I can relate to all animals on a level no NT could even possibly hope for. My nickname was the Cat Whisperer

Even at 48, I'm still learning new things about myself!

Well, I thanks for the kind comments.

I'll be honest I've been part of wp for 8 years now wherein, my activity overall has been sporadic still, this is one of the few threads that continues to go on regardless..

Choices ARE too many. And yesy, that includes riches or fame in some sense but chances of getting it is low.
So many, it could be from jumping up and down the sofa for hours, to go crazy with those pile of clothing and make tents outside in a middle of the night.
But I get little chances because of other choices that I'm doing now. Not to mention getting in trouble or chances of getting scolded because I'm aware it's not just not my clothes within those pile...

Mary Stuart's little love was Geddon. A truly loyal companion!

8th Feb 1587.

Saddest day!

My ancestor!

Mary Stuart - Not Geddon!
