What's the last weirdest dream you had?

Nightmare. I was crashing into parades everywhere. Tried to go to hockey game but they paraded instead and i was in the way. Got my sister to come with me to go home but train workers were on parade and we were in the way. I knew a route we could take where there would be no people and we ran smack into a parade of security guards. Then we got into a small car to drive home and I was sitting in the driver's seat (but in real life I never learned to drive). I said I don't even have the keys and Sis said that's okay, it's a generic car, any key will work, and I drove us home, where Mother was not pleased.

There is the expression "I don't wanna rain on your parade" ( take away the joy from what the persons doing).

Your dream kinda turns the metaphor on it's head. You're trying to get somewhere but you have to swim upstream against a torrent of all of these damned parades coming at you! The parades are raining on you.

Not sure what it means.

Could be an aspie related metaphor about the difficulting of reaching a "goal" (hence the hockey image) because having to watch parades (engage in social stuff) gets in the way which is hard for aspies. Maybe.

The sound of a hockey game is a lullaby to me – in childhood, bedtime and game both start at 8pm, Mom tucked me in, Beliveau was on the ice, all was safe. To me, hockey represents good family life. I did have a lot of blows in life but not during a hockey game! If the game was on TV, bullies watched it.)

Throughout life, Mom yanked the rug out from under all my efforts at higher education. I resented that until recently. It’s not fun but true – “If you can type you’ll always have a job.” Mom took away biology and calculus and I was a math whiz and can’t ever get it back because they brought in the New Math. My 5yo nephew taught me set theory. My friends with degrees were/are unemployed. I usually had a job and a paycheque. So yes, Mom prevented my own individuality but here I am, comfortably retired.>

i dreamed that my house was invaded by squatters, and i did not cotton onto it until i finally realized it was my house (i am slow witted in dreams).
then i did not have a car to get somewhere, and i wondered what became of my car, and then i remembered i had a lot of cars that were personally desirable cars i bought at different times on a whim (like 1968 cadillac and 1972 rolls royce and 1973 jensen interceptor etc), and i had parked them all in various places around town, but i could not remember where, and i also could not remember the number plates (licence plates) of those cars in order to call police to locate them. so i considered that i lost them and i had squatters in my house and i woke up and was thirsty and had a drink and went back to bed and did not dream any more about it.

I had an abbreviated nightmare involving dark spirit harassment.

I couldn't remember my dream last night, but the night before I dreamed of a place full of soft grey mist, and I was following the Grey Princess like a shadow. Her dress was darker grey, but her body seemed quite insubstantial. Suddenly she was gone, and I found her dress on the ground [except there was no ground, just a blank white]. I saw the Princess briefly for a moment, wandering around wearing nothing, all light and free, and there seemed to be quiet, soft dawn-like light up ahead. Huh???

i dreamt i was on top of a large play structure misplaced on the campus of a high school or university, with a girl i saw in my dreams telling me i could have her old CRT television.

yet another pretty girl meetup dream.

i dreamed i was wafting through random events while controlling slider bars that governed goodness knows what aspects of the situations, but it was quite an unsatisfactory waste of time in my mind, and the sleep was not restful

I dreamt that was on wrong planet but instead of being in front of a PC I was floating in the pages therein.

when i was reading that i imagined you riding on a line of text through a spam filled hall with the alternating blues and greens.

it was almost like that!

do you recall any specifics?

it all [specifics] evaporated within a few moments of awaking. drat it. I was trying so hard to remember it but got distracted by a knock at the door.

In my last dream I was nude! It was so embarrassing!
