Now that ya mention it, on a related note, it hasn't rained here in the PNW in a while. Or at least in Seattle.

I'm certain there seems to be less rain in general for whatever reason. It's been baking in the south-east of England for a good while. Much to my continued disappointment.

icecream. also having people you know in a stressful situation makes things less worse. even if it is for a fleeting moment at the end of the thing.

I'm a prefect now. I even have a badge saying so. Now maybe people will show a little more respect for me than they used to, and stop bullying me. Even if I do get teased about it, this new pride I now have will stop me being affected.

It was raining last Monday, it was desert dry on I-90 Central WA, but when I went passed Wenatchee over the first mountain it was pouring rain, if you take that route, you can really see how the mountains trap the moisture for the Puget Sound area.

I'm pretty sure that I figured out the underlying cause of why I have been so mentally and emotionally unstable lately. When I explained to my parents what my conclusion was and how I arrived at it, my dad quoted one of his favorite movies, What About Bob: "The best therapist is the one inside yourself."

i sewed up the hole in my pillow, washed my revolutionary pillow case, got a new pair of shoes to wear on days that are not tuesday or saturday and started sewing on them, washed my winter cover and put it away and i ate good food and got lebanese yoghurt from the store. i can make 2 other yoghurt derived staples with that.

I put skyrim into my ps3 only to remember it had to do an update and install the disk... so instead of waiting around, I picked up my guitar...

And ended up playing happily for about an hour after the install :D

I'm not sure how to describe playing happily :?... but I guess it was just one of those times I played and impressed myself with my current progress :|

did some postering in arncliff for the palestine rally and refugee and same sex marriage rallies. it is lebanese territory so i figured people would be more interested in palestine. a guy stopped me and seemed really interested in refugee rights activism so i gave him a poster. that was quite positive.

Watching a lot of episodes of this show I don't really want to name. Let's just say it's a superhero cartoon, I like watching them.

I seem to have convinced the ants that were invading my house to hang out somewhere else for a while. Soapy water and a powerful vacuum cleaner seems to have done the trick.

When I moved into my house, the blades in the ceiling fan in the kitchen were greasy and grimy beyond cleaning. I cleaned one as best I could and kept it as a reference incase I ever decided to buy new ones. Yesterday, instead of buying them, I cut new ones out of oak ply. A quick test yesterday shows that they are adequately balanced and today I have been putting the finish on them. I used a Van Dyke brown stain and garnett shellac which nicely emphasizes the grain.

Some critter has been eating my lettuce. Yesterday, I sprinkled some powdered white chili pepper over the plants. I'm pretty sure the criter came back because some pots were knocked over where it would have to climb up to get to the lettuce, but the lettuce doesn't seem to have been eaten further. Hopefully the critter doesn't develop a taste for spicy food.
