I never understand the phrase: "what you see is what you get".

I'll never understand it as long as i live.

What am I seeing and what am I getting?

I shall endeavor never ever to use this phrase as far as possible ever in my life.

Maybe one day someone will tell the developers at Microsoft to really consider working out all the bugs of a new operating system before actually putting it on the market and claim that it's okay to use..

Dr Who will be on soon anyway.

Maybe I might find the answer to my questions there.

I seem to be making friends all over the place lately.
I'm getting invited to parties and dinner and coffee.
On Friday *I* invited someone new out for coffee 8O
It was very enjoyable.

What's going on?
Could it be the all the probiotics I've been taking in order to get my immune system back on track?
Maybe Goldfish is right.

The many tv networks are airing horror movies all over the place.

Oh, yeah, right. Today is Halloween.
I bet lots of people have been invited to parties and such.
I've never been invited to a Halloween party.

I'll just sit here and wait for the day to end.

And cry in the shower.

Great sense of humor. It reminds me of the writing of Lemony Snicket in "A Series of Unfortunate Events". Thank you very much. :D

Why do people always feel the need to have somebody?

What a fascinating article! I often feel like I need to please people or make them happy. That may stem from the fact that one day I swore to never made my mum cry.

I had a great Birthday yesterday. I didn't have time to start a birthday thread because I was getting my costume ready for work and the Halloween dance at Stepping Stones afterwards. I was also on another site that I go on doing surveys to earn points to order things from Amazon. I didn't win any costume prizes last night. All the scary looking costumes got prizes. I don't like to do scary. I like to do cute, instead.

Thank you for the birthday wishes. I dressed as Om Nom from Cut the Rope.

^ I can imagine that would have been cute.
People don't do anything much for Halloween here.
I don't even really know what it's supposed to be celebrating tbh.

I don't really know exactly what's being celebrated on Halloween, either. I like to join the fun, though.

I love writing formal letters!
I love using words like "discrepancy" and "in arrears" and "reimburse".
I love using phrases like "according to section 24(a) of the [Don't Be A b***h Act]"
And especially "commence legal action".
I love writing the important parts in red.

It gives me a weird kind of high.
