I need this class to be over - I'm a mess. My tummy hurts really bad and I'm afraid I'm going to have to go on my usual liquid diet pretty soon. I'm down to eating only green bean casserole. I had some chips last night and now I'm really oaying for it.

Is there anything that could balance you out a bit? Maybe a hot shower or a nice tea with honey?

I got one of those adult colouring books for my birthday.
When I showed someone my colouring later, they commented that they'd never seen anyone use shading in a colouring-in book 8O
Aren't you supposed to do that?

You can do whatever you want. It's not called creativity if we're all doing it the same way 8)

Well that's what I thought.
I may do one as a collage with lurex string, faux fur, seed beads and the teeny circles of paper from the receptacle of my hole puncher.
Wonder what they'll say about that.

I may wait another few weeks to order my plates. I can ignore the RMS for a maximum of 4 weeks after the plates arrive at the registry for collection. The car would be here by the time the 4 weeks is up and I would have successfully conned my way out of paying their plate storage fee *trollface*

Today I was rudely awakened by the delivery man ringing the bell.
It wouldn't have been so bad with a "ding-dong" sound, but our bell is like an electrical saw, "ERRRRRRRRRR". 8O

I would say that has to be very offensive unto your sensory systems. :P

You know what, kazan, you're right. 8O
I've lived with having that bell around for most of my life and gotten used to have a neutral outside when I'm bothered by noise and unpleasant input, but on a locked-away level of myself, it's really painful.
And of course, being sleepy doesn't make it any less so. :P

Humph, I just wonder how many things I've learned to suppress my reaction to.
It's hard to say, because it's become so "normal" and automatic.

So... what new with you, kazan? :)

Not that much, though I'm hoping to have internet service in my flat possibly around tomorrow or Friday.

You use(d) to log in at a library, right?

Yes that is 110% correct for the library workstations are poor in performance due to being of a slim design. Rather they were desktop models with respectable internals no problem.

Don't you feel "weird" about surfing in public? I usually don't feel comfortable with that, even if nobody is around.
