everybody always makes those claims but its because the media always focus' on and exaggerates things to do with ethnic types and the police always profile you if you look ethnic.

i read what you wrote and i just think you should calm down and go ctrl-alt -del and start over.
there are idiots on both sides. there are aussie idiots and there are middle eastern idiots.
let them be idiots and just live in peace. i have nothing against you.
i suggest you be not drawn into the anger that either of our side's idiots harbor.

you can rage against who you perceive to be idiots, but there is much more goodness in life, so just ignore the whole hatred thing and live your life happily if you can.

we are all the same. you and me. you may find that offensive, but i will not apologize for that.

see the goodness in life and do not waste your energy involving yourself with hatreds held by angry people who will never relax and forgive.

i do not tar everyone with the same brush. you seem like a descent person who is drawn to what you feel is important, but what is important is peace, and that may be boring if one wants war, but peace is the only place where happiness can exist.

i am not a high functioning person, but i still know the sky from the ground.

that is all i have to say to you.

good luck with your life.

and what made me happy today was that i got to see jack mundey speak. the room was packed out and the man is old. like old, old. im glad i did before he dies. man is a legend. gotta say some of what he said i found problematic though. and the crowd included some people from the left and unionists. our profile is slightly bigger now the RSP is talking about joining. like i got told by somebody outside of our tendency that we were the group to be with because we knew how to be activists and how to build a revolutionary organisation and that the quality of political discourse in our meetings was high which was flattering but also true. the crowd really was into participating. the plumber that came sounded great- he was so militant. it was pleasurable listening to him. good meeting.

also i was at youthgroup today and the kid i sold our magazine to was there so i could give it to her. i decided to giver her 2 for one. the excitement in her voice was gratifying. she screamed out "OH YES". left wing politics excite me too. and there were foccacias there. i love those things. ate 2. (i cant believe were moving to chippendale. who moves a queer space to chippendale?! from newtown?!)

and talking to the guy in my education class. he's so sweet. he showed me a bruise his boyfriend gave him on his neck and it was like "think unsexy thoughts, think unsexy thoughts".

i can't. the racism in this country has always teed me off. the riots may have been 7 years ago or something but the ideas behind them obviously still exist. whether racism is directed at me or others i cant ignore it because it still impacts me. pretending things dont exist doesnt make it so therefore i must fight it.

Sure why not , I grew up in "the shire" well a Brisbane version of it, so yes I'm not to fond of these rugby league types.

I think I sort of agree with B9 sometimes VN you seem to see things that aren't really their , take the "minaret ban |" in Switzerland undoubtedly racist , though the complaints about the adhan disturbing the peace |I believe is on the money , I would have ended it to for that reason , you see the Swiss are quite anally retentive in that regard, noise pollution, air pollution, dust pollution,* Tv pollution, (no Big Bother their :D ) and countless others

Hell I'd even ban the F whatever planes on bogan day sorry Australia day as I think to myslef is that noise really necessary?

* even Jeremy Clasrkson of Top Gear fame "joked" a snow flake fell on the road in Switzerland it got promptly arrested. I think theirs truth to the clichéd stereotype of that country .

Hope you don't think I'm ganging up on you ?

if i think i see things then they probably are there but nah i don't think you're ganging up on me. might disagree with you sometimes but you're a decent bloke.

what made me happy: i made rice. proper rice, not throw a cup in water and boil it rice. i fried vermicelli, fried the rice, salted it and boiled it and it worked. mostly. i should have washed the rice better. the starch made it a little sticky but it tastes ok. not burning the vermicelli would have made a difference too. i'm sorta proud of this. it took my mum years to learn how to do it without it going wrong and this is my first go making it alone. then again one go isn't a pattern.
also i got to make a salad from things in the garden.
and i bought cake mix for me to make on friday for my birthday on saturday. so excited. i checked with my comrade and he said we ended up voting to go to the CSG rally on that day. this is going to be the best real birthday ever.(i hope)
and our meeting got reported on in the news:
http://www.news.com.au/breaking-news/na ... 6492417000
it quotes some of the disagreeable things mundey said but also some good things. it's kinda big that mainstream newspeople were there.

Moving out of a relationship has me spending time doing some soul searching as I pack stuff up. That's been good for me. I've been asking myself why I've been doing some things that were really getting on my nerves, and now I'm finally starting to understand. :) But my real happy thought is that I may not have a long list of "close friends" but what friends I do have are absolutely awesome friends.
It's been so nice to be able to relax...away from what was home.

i was walking down a part of elizabeth street near central station i hadnt been on, looking down at the ground to dodge poo or rotting fruit or gum or flotsam as usual when i realised the rotting fruit looked like mulberries and i looked up really excitedly and the tree above me was so full of ripe fruit all within arms reach. i was overjoyed. my eyes watered. i have so many good memories involving mulberries. the last time i had one(it was only one) was in 2006 in my dads village in lebanon. and there is a tree just 2 streets away. im so happy. i gorged myself. my stomach did ache. i was giggling and all misty-eyed the entire time i was eating. my fingers are purple/red. they were so big and juicy. im going back tomorrow for sure.
