Today I survived a job interview and yes I did prepare for it, but a few questions caught me off guard.

my teacher deducted a mark from my essay because she thought it was 2 days late but she was nice and took it off when she realised it was only an hour late. also free groceries from queer space. actually im not sure i was supposed to take them but i did because lots of it looked like it was gonna go off any second. like the funny smelling strawberries or the limp silver beat, the squishy avocado. so expirable.

Also, I'm a sucker for getting complimented by a competent teacher :)

best birthday ever. i did everything i wanted and planned to do. i:

did a poster run
went to a protest(anti-csg)
did some gardening- planted chives, weeded, checked out my one freesia bulb which has started to full on bloom and smells delightful. its a double. so beautiful.
had a smoothie
knit more of the square im making for queerspace. my comrade complimented me on it. it looks ok considering i taught myself how to fair isle knit yesterday
made labni with my yogurt
baked a cake- i put random bits of chocolate in it. cadbury marvellous creations was the best. shoulda put more in.
did not spend any time with anybody related to me in any way.
i will cook soup in a minute. this time with silverbeat.
perhaps i will go for a walk to cap my day. find that mulberry tree again.(food. always thinking about food)

today really was a lovely day. im so lucky it was a saturday this year. and yesterday it was so cold and wet but today it cleared up and so did my period. right on time.
forgot to add that i found a same sex marriage rally poster from the 3.12.2011 rally at the ALP conference. it was 10,000 strong and the biggest queer rights demo in australian history. i tacked it to my wall. i'd been looking for one for ages. awesome birthday present.

well i have a ladder that i store in my shed, and yesterday, i had a cold pang of dread that my ladder may have been stolen, so i ran at full speed to the shed and ripped the door open and .....the ladder was still there.

this could also go into the unhappy thread due to the wasted energy i spent during the circumstance which did not need to be investigated..

Cheated today. Guess it's not really something I should be too happy about, especially since I've been binging a lot lately, but candy bars and milk shakes and apple pie all seem good after having to wake up real early just to get a flu shot. Of course, tomorrow's gonna be back to strict diet and exercise...at least til Halloween. :P

Finished installing a new water heater. The old one was leaking where one pipe went in, and I broke the connector tightening it too much.

And, it was warm & summery today, unlike yesterday.

And, I think I figured out why my antidepressant suddenly stopped working a month ago.
