I just straightened my hair in record time of 55 minutes. It usually takes me 90 but I took bigger chunks of hair in the iron. We'll see how it holds up tomorrow I guess.

Today has been slow.... just like how every day around this time of the year is for me. I'm okay with that.

It has been quite enlightening to learn how "IQ" tests are flawed and not completely accurate..The best way of saying this, is don't let a numercal equation definate who you are and what you can realistically do.

I'm "contaminated" now. 8O
I've watched some American ads https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6llB5QR1Nmc
part 1 2 3.
These commercials have garnered 100% of my attention and thrown all rational thinking out the window.
I "want" these products, or at least the commercials have left me with positive memories of the products that might influence my behavior long-term.
"We love Happy Hotdog man!"
"No poops, no oops!"
"Even your DOG can Fun Slide! *growl?*"
"Introducing: Poo Trap, the magic poop collector!"
ghasdjghsjghsjgkshdkgjdshkj :skull: :skull:
Masterful, absolutely masterful!
And cruel.
But masterful.
Commercial brainwashing is a real thing.

I'll admit adverts do tend to have an affect on people's emotional content and decision making..

I can tell, especially because I've had minimal ad exposure for years now.
Holy cow, gotta stay away from that stuff or the money is gone quicker than they can say "order now". :skull:

/e: Not really. Ads are not direct with this. They are sneaky.
They burn into your memory for decades and one day they get you.
Or at least an idealized view of the brand has been reinforced.

^ I'm over it now (consciously).
It's ridiculous, really. But not that surprising: They wouldn't show commercials like that if they weren't effective.

^ Thankfully I didn't have one. I was nearing one after reading through one of my old threads, about a controversial topic.
