Hi Kyle - are you here? In Australia?

I guess the 'yep' gives it away!

Did you have big fireworks where you are? Are you in Sydney? NSW?

Ohhh. What am I doing here?

This is upside down from how I view it from where I was placed!

How's the weather down in Sydneyside?

It's not bad in NYC---in the upper single digits Celsius.

My Samsung Galaxy says it's 18.3c but it feels very humid to me - as it always does, Kraftie.

I know your predilection for weather -

I wish I lived where you do. I'd take off to the Rockies and never be seen again (and I don't mean die)!

Pretty warm for 1 AM. I bet it will be over 30 inland today.

I sometimes wish I could get in a spaceship and go to Mars.

When you get to the Rockies, just make sure you have a decent fire going. It can get down to Minus 30 Celsius quite easily.

I know how to survive my friend. Minus 30C???? That's bloody cold. I'll have to disappear in the summer and make a cabin for winter. Do you think that'd be possible? Do you think there's anywhere/any land you could do that without being discovered for a lifetime?

Not interested in Siberia - Just America, specifically in the Rockies - Jeremiah Johnson country!

Maybe in high-elevation areas of Montana, Wyoming, and California.

It's really hard to "get off the grid" in America, though.

I thought so - especially if you're an Aussie.

I wish I could just 'blend in'.

My Mum's going to die soon and there's NOTHING holding me here. She's all that has kept me living here and all my life, all I've wanted to do is live in America.
Ever since I can remember!

I've always felt out of place on this Earth but whilst here, I've always felt like I should be in the US. That was why I was desperate for a penpal in the US when I was very young. When I started to write!

Americans frequently like Aussies because they see lots of themselves in Aussies.

I think you'd do okay in America.

Ever since "Crocodile Dundee," some Australian expressions have become such an integral part of our lexicon that the Australian origin of them might not even be known.

"No worries," for example. Very common in America. Most young people don't know the origin of that phrase.

I always felt I was from another time - but that can't be changed as easily as current location can!

BUT... No worries mate!

Honestly Kraftie, I feel apart from accent, there's little difference between us.
