Oh Kraftie, I just want to live in the wilderness by myself but I fear, at my age, that's not going to be easy.

I do have the skills - I was in the Scouts :) I jest
But I do have survival skills but my body has also sustained certain injuries throughout its journey thus far which I believe would make sustaining life in such an environment near impossible - let alone the fact that I wouldn't be legally allowed to stay there for life!

These salt and vinegar crisps are quite a challenge to my taste buds.

Wanna get married? :) I'm really cute! LOL

No, but seriously, I do have a Cert IV in Investigative Techniques and worked as an Investigator for several years. I believe you can get in as a skilled migrant. Do you know?

I'd have to do research on this.

The amount of what the USA considers "skillful" is really limited--that I know.

Well, I'm using Waterfox (64 bit OS version of Firefox) but I swear, every time I tried to PM you, it'd crash BUT you know who I work for. Perhaps, that's why!

Try to call a US immigration lawyer. See if they give free consultations. Explain your situation. They'll have good insight into your situation vis-à-vis obtaining a green card.

You know the phrase "grow a spine"? Well, the human spine is depressingly delicate and fragile and any injury to it can result in you becoming crippled for life. Instead people should say "grow a thigh bone." Your thigh bones are the largest, strongest bones in your body. I learned at school as a kid they can take on two tons without breaking!

Nah....don't worry....this communication will self-destruct in five seconds LOL.

Seriously, if you get lucky enough to get a consultation with a US immigration lawyer, make use of it.

I will, thank you but it's almost like I'm working in '1984' in the Department I'm working in now!

These salt and vinegar crisps are making my eyebrows sweat.

I don't know why I put myself through it.

I really don't.

And yes, you're right lostonearth35
Femurs are far stronger than spines! Although, not as flexible!

But, they are responsible for keeping us upright and not withering like a coward, which I believe is the inferred insinuation.
