LOL - Yeah

Honestly, this world truly is stacked against us. Anything that tastes nice or feels pleasurable is bad for you.

They try to tell me broccoli is good for me but I swear, it tastes like poison.

NOW, the one thing I do like and everyone else seems to hate is Brussel sprouts.

Strange. All my life, I've never ever liked a single piece of fruit or vegetable and the one thing I do like, everybody else HATES.

Nothing better than a brussel sprout boiled, cut open, put a dob of butter in it and sprinkle it with pepper. YUMMY!

That and a huge, ginormous cup of coffee and you're laughing! At least, that's what us aliens like! :alien:

Everyone hates them and wants them to die. Why???

In the famous words of Kamahl, "Why are people so unkind?"

I've never had a friend that has been so wonderful that would make me think, "Jee, I wish they were here!"
Conversely, I've always preferred my own company. Perhaps that's why I've always preferred to be alone.

Self-reflection

You get to do a lot of that when you live alone!

Good mind time. I thought I knew myself before. Now, I'm really starting to understand myself. I'm just as I thought. I'm just getting to know me better. Time to be alone and truly nut out exactly how I am. How I feel!

I've never had a friend like that either.
I like to be alone.

Having said that, I made a friend last year who is rather wonderful.
She lives out in the bush and I spend the weekend out there sometimes, making fires and dancing around and cooking on the open flames.
It's great fun.
We think very much alike.
We don't give a flying foo-foo about conventions.
I've wondered sometimes if she might be an aspie.

But I'm still happy to go home and be alone.

That's nice Raleigh. It actually makes me wish I could find someone like that. But in my life, I've never found such a person.

I enjoy cooking on the open fire. I'd love to go 'bush' as you call it although 'bush' here in Australia usually means 'scrub' = horrible. Hot, dry, sandy, etc.

I'd like a friend out in the country.

Someone who is honest. Down to Earth. Natural.

Someone I can dance around the fire with. Tell jokes. Someone who's interested in what I'm interested in. But alas, I fear there is no one on this Earth that fits that bill!

I really like the word(s) "tremble/trembling". In addition to the common association of the word with "fear", for some reason, I also associate the word with "youth", "innocence", and "purity". I don't know why. It's just the way that I've viewed the word for a while now.
