I am imagining it went something like this Stargate scene:

Any new special powers come with that ascension?

They lie when they say you gain special powers.

I mean, when I attained the rank of Wizard I received no special wizard powers. :(

Or maybe you did...but you just haven't become aware of their presence yet...
Little do you know, somewhere in Istanbul, a light keeps getting turned off and on, and it's all due to your unharnessed powers!

I'm blowing my boss's mind away with my programming abilities!
She thinks I'm the bee's knees!

And she thought that last bloke she worked with was good with Excel.

I can make Excel dance using VBA.

VBA is child's play.

I'm no script kiddie! If I showed her some of the socket programming stuff I've done for SunOS/Solaris, BSD (OpenBSD & FreeBSD) and Linux (UNIX) using C/C++, She'd really see what I can do!

She's only seen the tip of the iceberg of what I'm capable of!

I guess that's why I was allowed to be a member of 2600 for so long when I was younger! (before it died off here in Australia!)

At the risk of sounding conceited, I'm smart. Wicked smart! (That is, when it comes to programming. When it comes to people and life, I'm pretty naive! And I wish I didn't like to drink so much!)

What does the fox say? Foxes don't say Jack! They can't talk!

No animal can talk except for humans - and I quite often wish they couldn't!

Actually, I find most of the time, humans don't talk as much as they spit venom!

There's nothing you can do that can't be done.
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can make that can't be made.
No one you can save that can't be saved.
There's nothing you can know that isn't known.
Nothing you can see that isn't shown.
There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be

Nothing you can do, but you can learn How to be you in time
It's easy.

All you need is introspection (not love)!
