Yes, that was Ed Gein's house.

I thought the townspeople burned down Ed Gein's house, when they discovered the venison he was giving them wasn't necessarily deer meat. :eew:

Yes, that is correct  .

b9 house---make me think of dreams of happiness. It's like the owners were looking to a bright future.

blue bean---already solved, but trying to ignore that, I would have seen the house as trying to connect to nature.

I remember this house. I have a good visual memory. Nothing emotional but makes me think of how circumstances can change someone's life dramatically.

That was a very good call. Norman Bates actually did live in it.

The fictional character Norman Bates was based on the real life killer Ed Gein. And this was his house.

LOL it's so easy to cheat and see the site the pictures came from. I'm not saying how, though.

Just change the name of the picture when you upload it.

Here is an HO scale house I own. It is serving as a setting for a novel I have been working on. I am interested in seeing what you think of it.

The house is a little mixed it's a little disturbed but it's not that upset but that may just be the colours.

My HO scale house in the picture on my above post serves as a climatic point in my novel---not actually the climax though. Here, in that square tower of the house, lies a horrific test for the main character. If he survives, he will walk away with the knowledge to reach the pinnacle of his search. But if he doesn't survive, one of the greatest mysteries of the world will remain hidden.

I like how you roughed up the paint to give it the look that says, "abandoned long ago....or was it?"
