some jejune advice from an old timer- enjoy your youth while you're in it. it is always better lived than remembered, as a fresh meal is better than warmed-over leftovers. the first time is always the best.

Definitely, enjoy what you have and the moment, as much as you possibly can. That doesn't mean hyper manic wheeeee necessarily, just, savor or notice it, that's all. Appreciate it. Appreciate yourself.

It's easier said than done, I know. But maybe that bit of encouragement will help somebody.

Looking back I can see mistakes I made, one of which was not realizing, appreciating, or accepting, that it was OK to have more of some things than others, including looks. That if you do, you should not allow negative people or destructive people to make you feel guilty about it. They won't be any happier when they succeed at tearing you down a peg, I can attest to that also. They will just move on to someone else and repeat the cycle.

Looking back at photos and videos I realize now why some people treated me like they did, whether it was a superficial friendship or it was being hit on or jealous-acting behavior. I didn't want to think so because I well, didn't want to be conceited I guess (and I wasn't.) But looking back I actually kept myself back or opened myself up to danger because of not seeing myself as others saw me.

Seeing yourself as others see you is a good piece of information, so try to be objective about yourself. It isn't conceit to do so. Most people are way too hard on themselves.

I don't wear makeup or dresses, I usually am too rough both in how I talk, and in any physical activity I do. I mock other girls with shoe and money obsessions, and I have been known to punch guys in the stomach for making chauvinistic comments... but for some reason a lot of guys tend to confess feelings for me.

I guess I can't be that bad-looking.

BM doesn't know what he's talking about. I honestly do look like Mick Avory in the face and I call it as I see it. All I need to do is lose a few lbs, than I'd look like him almost all over.
