I've always hated my first name.
I had enough trouble at school being AS without being saddled with an upper class christian name.

"orchid". (sounds vaguely like "awkward" so i would probably laugh if i met someone called that name).

"flopperellamagellicacentaurius" shortened to "floppy".

For a while I wanted to name my daughter Ana-mai.

Oh God, I'm so glad I'm not thinking of using that name anymore.
