That's a good point, I have to admit.

Really? Don't you get clear skies at night where you live? Or were you speaking metaphorically?

I never use metaphors.

I'm a flag nut, no doubt of it. My obsession extends to coats of arms as well. Actually all sorts of signs, traffic signs in particular, licence plates, military insignia, business logos... You name it.

Oh, wow----me, TOO!! I wonder what that means? Maybe, cuz ASDers like "direction", or "rules", or something (in regard to the signs)?

In regard to the flags / coat-of-arms: Maybe we like things that signify, something----or, like, when we see them, we know, INSTANTLY, what they "mean", or something?

I USED TO love ANTM----but, then it got to be all about cat-fights, and I just don't have time, for that. (The very FIRST "Top Model", married "Peter Brady" [I forget his REAL name]; but, I think they're divorced, now.)

I read / looked-at all your posts on the TV / Film Forum, regarding ANTM.

I've always been a HUGE fan of fashion----in the "I love to design it", sense; NOT the "I need Michael Kors' new bag", sense----I've been reading "Vogue" since I was, like, 12. I'm a HUGE fan of "Project Runway", and own 6 seasons----all of which, I've watched about a hundred times, EACH!

I'm not really a fan of Tyra Banks, though; I think she's "a poser"----as in, I think she thinks she's "all that, and a bag of chips", but she's NOT, IMO!!

Did you see the 2 films about Yves Saint Laurent that came out last year? The first was 'Yves Saint Laurent', with Pierre Niney as YSL; the second was 'Saint Laurent' starring the gorgeous Gaspard Ulliel (swoon :) ). The interpretations are quite different, mainly because Saint Laurent was such a complex, flawed person he lends himself to speculation. Both films are available on DVD with English sub-titles.

Yeah, I agree ANTM is not what it used to be. Yes, the first ANTM winner, Adrianne Curry, got married to Christopher who plays Peter Brady, they divorced a few years ago.

I don't mind Tyra. I actually think she is quite fun to have as a host but each cycle the show gets more and more ridiculous. While on Australia's NTM the girls are given real modelling challenges, shooting with top fashion photographer and walking for the biggest names in the industry, on America's NTM the contestants are set stupid challenges and taught how to "SMIZE" and "TOOCH" and the way the show is edited sucks. ANTM has become a complete joke and not many of the contestants have gone on to become real top models. I tend to prefer the international versions of the show to the original now. Australia's Next Top Model, Germany's Next Topmodel, Korea's Next Top Model and Top Model Poland are in my opinion some of the best spin-offs.

NTs may be silly, but they can speak without stutter-r-ring.
