YAY! Booked my flight to England for Christmas! Leaving the 14th of December and returning to Canada late Christmas day! Can't wait!! !! ! WOOOO HOO!

We are staying in Glossop with some family, but will get out to both Manchester and London for a few days each while there!! Can't wait. This'll be my first vacation as an adult!

Six weeks till Christmas and Nintendo Wii's are sold out in the UK And our family are getting one soon(or we have it already and I can't find it hidden around the house early yet!!)

How fantastic are these displays?
I stood outside of a large shop, taking pictures of window display after window display...some turned out blurry (so I won't post), as it so sooo cold outside yesterday... Brrrrrr!! !, but here they are. Little people in shop windows!

ahhhh....we are busy trying to find a flight to England for Christmas. We foolishly bought tickets for our 9 year old to see Highschool musical on ice for x-mas day, thinking that we would have to accommodate the foster baby's family during that time and would have to put off a trip until after x-mas, but noooooowww..... he won't be allowed to leave the country with us (some strange rule that the biological parents have the right to make those decisions about his care, even though they are not fit enough to care for his every day needs...*sigh*
So this also means we are free to do as we please over the holidays for 2 weeks while they find an alternate arrangement (family care) for this baby and the only thing that is holding us back is the small fortune we spent on these tickets!! !! *sigh*

High School musical on ice look's pretty good, It's unbelivable what disney have achieved from just one movie.
Got rid of the tickets today! Now truly on our way to England! From the 14th to the 25th! We will be in not one, but 2 countries Christmas day and....get this, we get a 5 hour extension to Christmas day! YAY!
