I don't know a damn thing about online relationships, nor do I care to learn.
So your opinion is based upon...what exactly?

What if you meet them and find out they're a douchebag or something of that matter?
Fell in love. Talked for months. Met her in person, she was far more incredible than I thought she was initially. Hoping I can see her again soon.
People can portray themselves different from how they actually are no matter what the medium. Or they can be true to themselves. That it originates online (or offline) has nothing to do with it.

again, no one gives a flying fuck about my opinion, so it's a waste for me to share it @_@

None for you.

Thats how you do it

Meet them offline, then meet them online, and click
Congratulations.

Im happy for you.
I think that an integral part of any relationship is missing if you keep it strictly online, namely the physical contact two beings need from each other. I'm not just talking about sex, but the base need for a physical representation of the being you love, not just an abstract electronic representation. Man was not made to love just a bunch of text, or some representation.
Like Pygmalion loving a statue, man cannot love an inanimate object (a computer screen) that represents a person, without longing for a physical being.
