it was chemistry and the teacher was rambling as usual and mentioned that they use lead in the aprons people use during x-rays

not sure if any of them are autistic, but some of them said they felt very comfortable

so non autistics also like pressure... well certain ones... interesting... i absolutely love pressure... i could easily take all 5 lead aprons from a standard radiological suite and sleep with all of them piled on top of me :D

never had the pleasure of using one,but if all goes well I'm gonna have a dentists appointment near the end of the month, so I'll see if i like 'em then

I usually sleep with a big comforter even when its 80 degrees at night.

you are going to absolutely LOVE that lead apron... they are extremely warm (especially the PVC coated ones... those get the hottest) and very heavy (35 pounds on average)

at the hospital i usually have it on me for at least an hour for my big twice yearly x-ray series.... it does get sticky after a bit if its the PVC kind, just to warn you lol... but i like that feeling... i tend to fall asleep during my x-rays.
