Although Key West likes to think it is the most southern point of the US, it is actually the town of Na'alehu, Hawaii, at latitude 19 north, where Samuel Clemens planted a monkeypod tree that (kind of) survives to this day.

Diabetes is a problem of glucose (sugar) management in the body. Those with diabetes usually have too much sugar in their blood. This sugar causes problems in the capillaries and small blood vessels in the body, such as the feet and the eyes. Diabetics have a much higher likelihood of developing both blindness and amputation of lower extremities. Often diabetics lose sensation to the distal extremities, and can not feel if they have an ingrown toenail or other injury, so it doesn't get taken care of, and it develops into a sore that does not heal because there is no blood supply - an unhappy loop. This is why diabetics are cautioned to be very careful about caring for their feet - they may lose them.

Modern computer hard drives have a spring that pulls the read/write heads back when the disk looses power so the heads do not rest on the platters, which could hit a piece of dust and scrape the disk, thus causing what is known as a 'hard disk crash', ruining the hard drive and destroying its contents. Before these springs were employed one had to retract the disk heads before turning off the computer, this is known as 'parking the disk'. Windows has this feature built in, the code to do this still exists in the latest versions of Windows even though it is now completely unnecessary.

I remember parking the hard drives in my old 8086 "At&T 6300"

Richard Nixon resigned the presidency before he could be impeached so it was indeed legal for Gerald Ford to pardon him, however justified it may or may not have been to do.

42 is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything.

The question could possibly be "What is 6 times 9".

If you perform 6x9 in base 13, the answer is 42.

No. Pillows are the answer. Pillows are always the answer.
