I've had a few brief 'Website Is Offline' messages over the last 12 hours or so, but nothing really significant. By my reckoning, the site isn't scheduled to close down for UK folk until about 3am Sunday.

Still getting a black and white banner across the top of all my WP pages re 'WP will be down for maintenance on 16 Jan' though.....

I, as well. It appears that WP will be down in 9.25 hours from now. (@ 7:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time, in California, USA)

Because when it first started out, it was
"A PATCHY" server!

I remember those days. Trying to get it to serve pages on SunOS was like extracting teeth. You basically had to wrestle with it. The config files. Oh, the config files!

Now, it's one of the best God Damn Web servers you can find - and it's FREE.
It's one of the packages you can install.

Just use pkgadd!
