With my high blood pressure problems and anxiety these days, I am going to try to put it to rest with Sears. I paid them off in full, made them cancel my account, and made the promise that I would never step foot into another Sears or Kmart for the rest of my life. And I will honor that promise. They will lose money from me in the long run here.
Today I changed my mind. I have filed a complaint with the attorney general's office. Nothing may come of it, but at least I tried, and I don't owe Sears a dime.
