I had a cat called p****.
The others were called Blackie and Smokey (They were black and grey respectively).
I also had a budgie named Birdie.

I wasn't very inventive with names when I was a kid.

When I was growing up, we had like 3 or 4 budgies. Not at the same time. When one would die, we'd get another one that looked exactly the same. Just like our cats. Just one at a time but they didn't look the same.

All of our budgies were named Pretty

And all of our cats were named Simon.

I'm certain my Mum's an Aspie too. We all are certain of that.

Ah, I think I know.

I knew someone once who had a cat named p i s s c a t - on account of the fact that he used to p i s s EVERYWHERE around the house.

I didn't want to get my boy's balls cut out - I thought it was cruel.

But the local girl cats used to drive him nuts (no pun intended).

He'd sit at the front door and yowl to get out.

Ever since I had them 'extracted', he's been so much more peaceful, relaxed and content.

If I wasn't Asexual, I think I'd get it done myself.

"cat" would also respond to a hand clap or a whistle or the rattling of a food tin from several hundred feet away out of direct sight.
