I think, from an existential historical viewpoint, that things in general are coming to a head.

Somewhere in the world right now, it's coffee time.

He's gorgeous and the name Casper suits him.

What a fantastic cat bed too!

Yeah I found the shark cat bed on Amazon for $7!! It shipped from China, so it took a few weeks, but it's so awesome and he loves it!

I'd rather be in a desert than here ^

I'm stuck in my hometown for the next 6-8 months, just waiting. Dragged back into my parents divorce tug of war game and now I'm the sole chip. Finding a job that will hire me knowing I'll be gone in half a year is going to be hard. I need a job too if I want that cat. Anyone I could have hung out with has moved away, and the few friends I currently have are 3 hours away at the university. Cabin fever is setting in.

That sucks. For the job stuff, don't tell them you'll be leaving the area soon, if they ask tell them you plan to stay for the foreseeable future. It's not exactly honest, but nothing about the job finding process is (I learned that the hard way when I tried some honesty on a Best Buy application test :P ).

It would be wonderful if you could make everyone happy 100% of the time.
That never happens.

Anyway...
I watched the original "Grease" movie the other night for the first time with subtitles.
Wow.
It's amazing how what I thought everyone was saying so wasn't what they were actually saying.

I was obsessed with that movie when I was a kid (my parents accidentally let me watch it)! I don't think I've seen it with subtitles before, but I imagine I've been mishearing a lot of the lines too.

I feel like throwing up. I've been on the computer all day trying to figure everything out about these online classes and printing out tons of stuff, trying to make out some sort of schedule and getting all of my study papers together. Classes are supposed to start tomorrow, but my pharm class started early and some classmates have already posted things about themselves along with pictures. I have to think of something good to say because you only get one time to make a great first impression. It looks like one other woman and myself have the most nursing experience with me at 14 yrs and she has 6 more years above me. Everyone else has either just graduated nursing school or has been a nurse no more than 4 yrs. That tells me that they are going to expect me to contribute in the message boards more about all of my experiences. I'm not doing this to be social - I just want to study and focus on the classwork. Why does everything have to be about getting along with your classmates? My second class isn't even showing up yet so that means I'll have to figure out everything about that class too and probably print off a bunch of things tomorrow. I need to find a couple of pictures to post of me and Waldo. I can't forget that I also need to pay for the classes tomorrow too! I better put that on my "Calendar of Crap To Do" that I have up on my refrigerator. I need to get some beauty rest and then it's back to cracking the books open so to speak. Mr. IBS is not happy.

We had that on here the other night too.

I didn't watch it. In fact, I don't think I've ever sat through the whole thing. I think I've seen it all though in segments throughout my life.

I always mishear/misinterpret things.
Do you know that old Olivia Newton John song called "If Not For You"? I used to think it was called "It's Not For You" right up until I was about 38.
