i went to youthgroup eventually. while i was there one of the youth workers asked me about how i felt about going to lebanon and i expressed some of the concerns i had and she named some i hadn't articulated but had. the fact that my family is majorly homophobic is a real worry for me, especially considering the things i intend to do, places i intend to go and the people i intend to see there and the nature of society in lebanon makes getting caught a likelihood. legality is an issue also. she thought it would be good to have a plan should i be caught, to have people or places i could go to, especially seeing as i am so isolated there. she realised i would need internet on my phone in lebanon so i could stay in contact with supports and started thinking of ways i could get this. she tried getting me an iphone from a donor to facilitate this(that plan failed because it was part of a video making thing that i was warming up to but then we found out it was a 6 week not 2 week programme). she's gone through so much effort. it was really touching- that she'd even think about it or care... god bless youthgroup. i don't know what i would do without them. they take care of me so much. honestly they are a godsend.

my 2 australian magpies returned to my house today after 2 days of absence. i was worried that one of them may have been hit by a car and the other one could not leave the scene due to stress. i was very happily surprised when both the male and female returned to my house today, and the male especially trusts me enough now to to let me preen his feathers. i very much love him and i worry about about him until he returns every few hours.

i also love the female magpie but she is much less trusting than the male magpie. i know the male magpie loves her and needs her and i so much wish to help them feed their young chicks which i have not met yet.

i suspect i will meet their children magpies very soon.

it is absolutely satisfactory that an animal brings their child to meet me. it shows trust and that is akin to love in my primitive mind.

even if i am mistaken, they very much benefit from my belief in them.

i so much love the simplicity of animal love. it requires nothing but truthfulness and gentleness and the love of an animal is the best feeling i can ever think of.

humans are hard to love because of all their self absorbed and essentially vain characteristics.

When I was a kid we used to feed raccoons in our yard and sometimes a mother raccoon would come with all her babies. It was so cute.

it is more than cute. it is an imperative that i learn how to to serve them. it is very important that you use your whole mind to work out how it is best to steward them through their lives if they place their lives in your hands. goodness what a gift.

an innocent animal who loves you must be protected with all one's might. i truly love innocent animals and i wish i could love humans in the same way, but humans are not as innocent as other animals are.
