WELL...
I strapped some chains to the soles of my shoes.
Epic stuff. Really.
I went bring out trash before I went and I almost fell.
With the chains the ice's got nothing on me!
This must be how Jesus felt when he walked on water, just that I can walk on ice! 8O

It's as hot as, here.

LOL - Imagine the looks I'd get if I strapped on chains and walked up to Padstow shops. I think they'd certify me.

Jesus was probably wearing balsa wood floaties strapped to his sandals.

Nah. There's a trick to it. There's a sheet of glass just below the water's surface. I saw Chris Angel do the same thing.

Only Jesus did it before glass was invented. Perhaps he used perspex?!

I heard it went up to 38 Celsius in Sydney the other day.

NYC might get 40 cms of snow tomorrow.

Hope you don't have detached bathrooms like here.

Why is it, when you read articles about 'the benefits of living alone', why is it, one of the main things people consider the most attractive and beneficial is walking around naked?

When I was with my partner, she and I used to walk around naked all the time.

I think it's a novel thing for young people but once you grow up, it just becomes a thing.

We used to go to the loo in front of each other as well. There comes a time, you've just got to mature and get past the, "Ohhh, I'm walking around my house naked - hehehe" stage.

It's just a thing. I was only thinking about that yesterday in fact - coincidentally. I was thinking, I quite often don't even consider the fact of whether I'm dressed or not. I just do what I need to do and sometimes, I think, "Oh, I can't do that!" like go and check my letterbox naked.

I live alone - with Boo - and I walk around naked here all the time. He never says anything - although, I have caught him giving my bits a good look. :) He's quite interested. I think, he thinks I've got another arm hidden in my pants :D

We're just animals. We all do the same things. Make the same smells. What's the big deal? We're all human. There's no secrets. We all know what each other does and we all do the same things as each other. Where's the secret?

Just the same animal living together.

It's natural.

Rationally, that makes perfect sense, but I still would like to keep certain things private...to keep the mystery alive. :P

HUMANS

It's only human arrogance that makes us think that we're separate/different/special from other animals, insects and bacteria, but I tell you. We are no different. Not to them. Not to any supreme being! No difference. We are animals, although, we don't like to think of ourselves as animals. We think, somehow, we're different. Better. Special!

Only human arrogance makes us think we're different. No supreme being/God/nothing considers us any different or better than anything else in the universe. There isn't even a supreme being/entity TO consider us as being the best on the planet - the special ones.

When we die, there is no 'special place' we go to, just because we're homo sapiens. Just because we've been "good". What happens to cockroaches and bacteria when they die is EXACTLY the same thing that happens to us when we die. There is no magic. No supreme being watching over and protecting us. We live - we die. End of story.

Our imagined self importance is phenomenal.

There is no better way of demonstrating the folly of human conceits. The fact that we think we have some special vantage point, some special position in the Universe.

The arrogance and conceit!

I've made up a new song in the line at the grocery store on Wednesday.

It's been a hard day's night and I've been sleeping like a log,
It's been a hard day's night and I've been working like a dog

I was standing in line with Dean and I was getting tired of waiting for the line to move. I broke out into song, singing A Hard Day's Night and that's how it came out. I truly am Schultz. You've got to have a sense of humour about yourself.

My Thoughts On Life (&*#$%)

When I was younger (not that long ago), I was always positive and optimistic about what I thought people were thinking about me only to find out that they were thinking quite the opposite.

I'm not a bad person. In fact, I'm a very caring, generous, nice person. Even I like me (There are people whom I know, like me - I think they do).

So I promised myself that I wouldn't believe such silly notions in future.

But despite the number of times I've been proven wrong and hurt, I seem to still think people have discovered me, like me and understand me. That they're thinking good things about me - only to be teared down again.

I don't know how many times this scenario has ripped me apart inside in life.

But now, I still like to fantasize that they're thinking good, nice things about me but I do recognize and keep in mind that my thinking is flawed and that this is just a fantasy. That no one ever thinks nice things about you. That they probably dislike, hate, think that I'm up to something or any of those other things.

I think my looks make people think I'm a bad person. The price you pay for being ugly I suspect!

:(
