Do you get most of the UK channels there? There's a show called Road Wars that I used to watch all the time, and it's really entertaining.

Don't know. I don't watch TV, listen to the radio, read news papers or watch the news any more.

I've seen enough horrible stuff that people do to each other!!

Look up a guy by the name of Roger Rogerson and a girl named Sallie-Anne Huckstep and you'll see why I don't want to see this shite any more.

He's getting his comeuppance. Good riddance slime-bag!

He was a cop - decorated too, and thought he was above the law.

What he did to poor Sallie-Anne was atrocious!

He stomped on her head (which never came out), punched her, picked her up by the throat, strangling her, strangled her for ages and then stood on her back to keep submerged under water in Centennial Park, Sydney - my home!

Now you can see why I don't have any media in my house.

Yeah, unfortunately there's a few bad seeds who become cops and use their position for evil. It's really horrific that they do these things.


I have to go to bed (it's way past my bedtime :tired:).

When I was an officer, I never let the power go to my head but there were sooo many men AND WOMEN who just became heartless.

Also, after working in Investigations for so long, your thinking becomes jaded. When you move to a different section, you're always thinking, "What's this guy up to?" It makes you suspect everyone. I had to keep reminding myself, not everyone is up to evil. You need to keep a fair mind.

I have really experienced some HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE ... Doesn't matter

I'm sorry.

I've said too much - I usually do. I just need to vent sometimes and I have no one in my life any more. Just a cat and he can't understand English.

I do talk to him and he pretends to listen but it's not the same as talking with a human who can converse with you.
