Ha LOL - Centrepoint tower in the background - I just saw that. I had dinner there one night with my ex-partner - it was a disaster" Nice view of Sydney though! :D

If you weren't an Aussie, you wouldn't know, we refer to it as Centrepoint Tower. You'd think it was called Sydney Tower (because that's what the Website is calling it now) but none of us know it by that name. We all call it Centrepoint - AND IT'S AWESOME - Even the lift ride up to the top is AWESOME

Training for non-Aussies

I remember back in the late September/early October 2009 when I used to sing "Tired of Waiting For You" by The Kinks every time I got impatient. I'm glad I don't do that anymore. It's still my favourite song, though. It will always be my favourite song. I was young and hyper back than.

How does one knew if someone is about to have chicken pox?

.. No seriously. Because I never had it before. So's my sister. 8O And I may or may not have some tell tale signs of it.

Headache, aching body, feeling sick, temperature. SERIOUSLY - get to a doctor if you suspect you've got Chicken Pox and you've not been immunised EDNA - As an adult, you can die from it. Seriously EDNA, the complications in an unimmunised adult contracting Chicken Pox can be very serious. If you seriously suspect this is the case, PLEASE go seek medical help. PLEASE!

When do you believe you may have been infected? How long ago?

2 or 3 days ago? Whatever this is, it's all over my body and I feel odd since yesterday...

Now whenever my eyes move, or the sight of light is giving me a sharp ache.

Too soon. The incubation period for adults is usually 2 to 3 weeks. In adults, the spots aren't usually the first symptom to show up anyway. In kids it is.

I can't say for certain without seeing the spots but it doesn't sound like you've got chicken pox to me. Can you take a picture of the spots and post it?

Do you have a sore throat? Have you got a temp? What is your temperature?

Have you had any cuts or scratches lately?

Sore throat? There are goddamned even spots IN it.
Temp? I cannot check it. All I know is that I'm rather warm from the outside than from the inside.
Cuts and scratches? Nope, but I'm pissed enough to give those to myself.

Been asleep most at the time. And my own body is testing my goddamned patience. :x Everytime I touch ANYTHING or physically feel anything! From eating and drinking to sneezing.

And yes, spots everywhere. I cannot take a picture because I cannot upload them and I never took a picture of myself...

Most people think that soap kills germs - but that's not how/why soap works. Most soaps are sodium hydroxide based and all sodium hydroxide does is break down fats. Our bodies naturally produce oil/fat (sebum - from your sebaceous glands) which is why your forehead gets greasy from time to time. Actually, your whole body secretes sebum, otherwise, we'd turn into dried out biscuits. If a duct gets blocked and the sebum can't get out, it builds up under the surface of the skin and that's when you get what's called a sebaceous cyst.

The sebum traps bacteria and they feast on us - they love us. We're a food-fest for them.

When you wash with soap, you're not killing bacteria. You're breaking down your natural boy oil, releasing it and shedding the bacteria with it - although sodium hydroxide is extremely caustic and although they "soften" Sodium Hydroxide based soaps with palm oil, olive oil etc. (hence the name "palm"olive), it is still very caustic.

If you can get your hands on Sodium Hydroxide, you can make your own soap - just stick enough oil in there - or it's going to eat away at you.

I's gonna have me 2 Chiko rolls for dinner (breaky?)

It is 3:32AM after all

Told you, I don't sleep more than 3 or 4 hours a night.

Actually, it runs to a 28 day cycle. I go from 3 hours sleep to 4-5 hours (max), depending on the time of the month. It's cyclic

I'll go for a week or so where all I need is 3 hours sleep and then I'll pass into a period where I need 4 to 5 hours sleep (4 mainly)

When I used to live with my Mother, she used to call me the wondering ghost because I'd be up all hours of the night, wandering the house. "Just doing stuff" When I was a kid, she'd tell me to go to bed and I used to lay there awake for HOURS, just staring at the ceiling.

When I lived with my ex, she used to go to bed around 10pm and after that, that was my time.

Sometimes, she used to come downstairs around 4AM and I used to pretend to be asleep on the lounge because I thought she'd get upset if she knew I was still awake and had to go to work the next day. But she knew/knows I don't need much sleep - after 23 years of living together, she learned such stuff about me.

Boo knows it too now. He keeps coming up to me and giving me head bunts around 2-3am as if to say, "I'm tired" I tell him to go to bed but he doesn't listen - and I can see in his eyes/face when he's tired - which is the only time I see the tired look on his face. And he gives a certain, "mrrrrr" sound which I now know he wants to go to bed.

When you live alone with a cat and he's your only companion and you his only companion (and you're an Aspie - and you notice subtle things about animals), you get to read them like a book!

My Thoughts On Life (&*#$%)

Whenever you say to people, "I'm ugly!" and they say, "You're not ugly!", don't believe them.

If they thought you weren't ugly, they wouldn't say, "You're not ugly." They'd say, "You're nice looking!"

"You're not ugly" is a euphemism for "You're ugly!" It's a typical, polite NT response/lie for when they do actually think you're ugly but they just don't want to tell you, and they can't think of anything else to say, let alone, say something nice or pay you a compliment.

I don't think so. If I said, "You're not ugly!" I might mean, "You're average-looking" or "You're quite good-looking." You can't know for sure what someone is actually thinking.

2-3 days since suspected exposure?
Spots externally AND in your throat?

The timing isn't right - I suspect you came into contact with someone a lot more than 2-3 days ago who was infected with the virus and you just didn't know it. As I said, the incubation period for chicken pox is between 2 to 3 weeks in adults. And the first symptoms in adults aren't usually spots. You'll get headaches. muscle pain, temp etc. In children, usually the first sign they experience is spots. Although, you are only 20.

External temp sensations don't count. It's internal core temp we need. Accuracy! Get a thermometer - better still, go to a Doctor!

It sounds a bit like shingles but if it were, I think you'd be experiencing a hell of a lot more pain (usually) but not always.

Both chicken pox and shingles are caused by the same virus (Varicella) and cause the symptoms you're presenting.

You R E A L L Y need to see a physician.

As I said earlier, it really can be life threatening.

Are you still up and about? Are you still functioning normally in life?

I am actually much better than I was, I started out bunny hopping. I can at least stay in the air however, I can't turn without strife turning. If I tried to turn I would have been in the street seen to the left at 0:12. I have acceleration and deceleration down, it seriously won't have looked so bad if I could turn.
