the fact that I enjoyed popping into WP for a moment... even if there was a little anxiety over dealing with some of the navigation because its not as familiar as it was :p

I have a medical condition that I don't particularly like to talk about (edit: and no, it doesn't have to do with my junk, someone helpfully pointed out that that's what it sounded like I meant). Suffice it to say that, while it is not dangerous, I am in moderate but constant pain and am physically limited by it.

There's a new medication I've been trying to get on for a couple years. Only thing is, it's hideously expensive; $2,300 a dose, with the copay still being in the hundreds (and thats if the insurance company can be convinced it's necessary in the first place). No damn way I could afford that, even if it is only once a month.

But, and here's the happy part, I was finally able to work things out between my new doctor, the insurance company, and the drug company, so that I can get it at a manageable price. I cannot express how excited I am right now.

After years of (patient and frustrated) practice my aspie dd is riding her bicycle without training wheels!! She is getting better after every ride and we are going further every time. She is 11 and has struggled with coordination and motor control. I am so proud of her but best of all.... SHE is proud of herself. It's like Christmas morning, seeing her face lit up because she feels good about herself.

Was picking up a couple of games today and struck up a conversation with an employee about them. Something I rarely do so social +1 for me.

Leaving work earlier than usual

I got some groceries with my friends this morning.

Shopping for groceries, I went! Happy it made me!

Tomorrow; and I may finally have a straight answer to my Aspies after 20+ years of suspecting it.

I get to head home a day earlier! YAY!

I'm off work for the next four days.

Helping others and volunteering at a soup kitchen

I'm home.

Listening to "God Of Thunder" and playing around on the Internet makes me happy. Oh, and so does this emoticon: I love it.

Got 500gb of new hard drive space for free. I'd forgotten that Win 2000 only let me partition 1tb of a 1.5 tb drive for some reason, and discovered that Win 7 let me reparation to include all the space. I was runnIng out of room for backups, too, so this is a good thing.

And, my cat slept on my bed last night. That was good, too.

I got together with my friends tonight and had a wonderful time.
