I feel your pain - but you didn't follow my post of my love of acridotheres tristis.

You didn't EVEN comment on them. By the way.. I've only ever had one relationship in my life and I'm 48. Feel sorry for me!

So I'm giving you the same attention that you gave me
(I do understand though)

I am very sorry ImAnAspie, I was crying a bit when I posted that, I meant no offence, I came, I posted and I left. I should have not done that and went straight to another forum to post, this is not the place for that. I apologize, please lets not fight over this, it was my error.

Let me try this again

Thank you dcj123

They are cute, aren't they :) and smart.

Here in Australia, they're an introduce species

Humans brought them here in the 1800's to kill the insects in the Melbourne City Gardens - but my Mynas had a different agenda.

They flew out of their boxes and took off North. Needless to say, the people who had gone to all the trouble of bringing them from India and had plans that they would help them out with their bug problem were rather p!ssed off

Humans - They can make their bed but they can't stand to lie in it - and they never learn!

Cuts and scratches? Nope, but I'm pissed enough to give those to myself.

Been asleep most at the time. And my own body is testing my goddamned patience. :x Everytime I touch ANYTHING or physically feel anything! From eating and drinking to sneezing.

And yes, spots everywhere. I cannot take a picture because I cannot upload them and I never took a picture of myself...

2-3 days since suspected exposure?
Spots externally AND in your throat?

The timing isn't right - I suspect you came into contact with someone a lot more than 2-3 days ago who was infected with the virus and you just didn't know it. As I said, the incubation period for chicken pox is between 2 to 3 weeks in adults. And the first symptoms in adults aren't usually spots. You'll get headaches. muscle pain, temp etc. In children, usually the first sign they experience is spots. Although, you are only 20.

External temp sensations don't count. It's internal core temp we need. Accuracy! Get a thermometer - better still, go to a Doctor!

It sounds a bit like shingles but if it were, I think you'd be experiencing a hell of a lot more pain (usually) but not always.

Both chicken pox and shingles are caused by the same virus (Varicella) and cause the symptoms you're presenting.

You R E A L L Y need to see a physician.

As I said earlier, it really can be life threatening.

Are you still up and about? Are you still functioning normally in life?

More like stuck in my room all day and asleep half the time. I feel like crap and everything tastes like crap.

I know people respond to other people's posts

I post a lot because I don't sleep more than 3-4 hours a night - I'm up all night

But please don't tell me, people feel pressured to respond to me because I've been a member on here for a BLOODY LONG TIME and I know what they're capable and what they're not capable of. After all, I'm An Aspie too (hence the name)

It's not a matter of inability. It's a matter of unwillingness

So please don't hide behind the same sheet that I'm covered in because we both know it's bullsh!t.

I don't think anyone is ignoring you. They might just not have anything to say. People do respond to a lot of your posts.

I think that Hair is a half and half movie. Both free spirited hippies and militant conservatives can enjoy it for different reasons.

EDNA PLEASE GO SEE A DOCTOR - I'VE GIVEN YOU MY DIAGNOSIS but if you're not dead yet from the virus you've got and you're telling the truth about your suspected incubation period, then you're going to live! Sorry to tell you that!

As I said, Varicella has an incubation period of 2-3 weeks in adults but it can be deadly.

If you had shingles, you'd know it. You'd be in a lot of pain.

PLEASE EDNA - GO SEE A DOCTOR

WHY AREN'T YOU?
