I want to say it's to keep the hat from blowing off while riding horseback. Why it's on the chin like that, I have no idea. (anti-strangulation? Military tradition? Aliens.)

I believe the English do it with their hats as well. Canadians? Maybe it's a British realm thing. :king:

Oh and I've never seen people wear their hats like that before.

In one of my previous jobs, we had to wear ties. They had to be the clip on ones. Someone tried to pull mine to strangle me once. It came off in his hand. You should have seen the expression on his face. LOL

Do you know what drives me nuts about writing programs that deal with dates?

You guys write dates in the format of MM/DD/YYYY and we write them in the format of DD/MM/YYYY.

Makes life VERY difficult for an Aussie programmer
