I was pretending to be something that I'm not at work, today. I was pretending to be bubbly and bright and I was really forcing the eye-contact. I was trying to hide my Schultz like features, mannerisms and traits as well as the Sweet Pea nature he does have when he's mellow. Every second word out of my mouth was happy. I was faking cheeky and enthusiasm when my true nature is really slow and mythodic while looking through the corner my somewhat misty eyes that show my sensitive nature. I waved my cry scarf around and said, "Why would a cheeky and perky Cockney have something like that in their coat pocket?" I did that because I thought I was in trouble for showing my true nature at work. I don't want to lose my job, so I was trying to be what I'm not.
I think a lot of us have to pretend we're more like everyone else at work, in order to maintain our positions. Don't feel bad Cockney!
