My stupid neighbors are flipping pissing me off. A car parked outside our complex has been sounding its alarm since at least 9am!! ! It will go off for a few minutes and then it will stop. I tried calling our apartment office before leaving for work but couldn't get through to anyone. When I came home it seemed to have stopped. Well it's just started back up again. I called the sheriff's non-emergency line to report it. I just hope they don't come by when it's in the "off phase." I am pretty sure the people are just turning it off remotely, without actually addressing the malfunction, and that really annoys me!

Well the cop came, and of course the alarm had just stopped, so he looked at it, fiddled around in his car, and drove off!
I made it pretty clear to the dispatcher that it cycles on and off, and it's been doing this all day. Grrrr!

They're always crawling up my legs. The ants that is. Not the redbacks and funnel webs. The spiders just move around in there and get under the toilet seat and I need to check they're not under there before I sit down. I don't fancy racing off to ER with a funnel web bite to my privates - or anywhere else for that matter. I wouldn't make it anyway. I'd be dead before I got to the phone)

But THE ANTS! They crawl up my legs and bite me everywhere, including on my privates when I'm trying to do 'my business'! I don't even feel them until they're biting me.

A bit of background info there.

I digress.

I just went up and bought 2 cans of 6 month lasting surface spray but it's raining now.

AND HERE'S MY QUESTION!

Do you think rain will dilute the surface spray (keeping in mind that it does last up to 6 months) or do you think it will help wash it into the ground and kill the little buggers where the live and breed?

After all, chemicals don't break down in water. Do they?
I'm hoping it will help spread the stuff and get them down deep where they live!

Do you think I should spray in the rain or wait until the rain stops? It's only a light shower. Not pouring down.

I think there should be an app for people to block their devices from showing pictures of certain thing . (Mine would be for those creatures).

As I predicted, the alarm started going off again. Once again, the cops have been called. They'd better do something this time (they sure as hell don't want me handling it ).

Oh, the spiders!

My ex partner had really really bad OCD and was afraid of pesticides. They're carcinogenic.

If we were at the shops and a pestman/fumigator walked past us (even if he was like 6 feet from us), for the next hour it was, "Do you think he got on us? - What if we go the the same shop he went to and go through the same checkout?"

And eventually, the poor thing would have to cut our shopping trip short without getting what we went there to get just to go home and she'd shower for honestly over an hour. Poor Kato!

Yeah, mine is pretty bad too. I can't even say/type the name without feeling itchy. But in Florida (and in Aus) it's a pretty rational thing to be afraid of, because they are poisonous in these locations.

So I know her (Kato's) pain!

Oh, forgot to mention: when I've thought the stuff I typed was lost, I was able to either hit "backspace" or reopen the closed tab and it (the text) was all there again.

Thank you Aurora. She really suffers with it like HONESTLY every minute of every day. I lived with her for 23 years and I got to know her inside and out.

The whole time, she was on guard. Never a relaxed moment whilst we were out. Home was different. It was her controlled space but even there, occasionally (often) things would get dirty and I'd have to wash them for her or I'd have to wash my hands or shower if I got dirty.

I did SOOOO much for her that other people would have just said, get over it.

I used to even hold her hair back when she was vomitting - that's true love!

I know of people who have divorced their partners because they had OCD. Because they were just too much of a burden.

But you don't give up on family.

Or at least, that's what I used to think until I was given up on.
