There have been Generation Gaps all through history. Some kids don't grow up the way the parents want them to and that creates a Generation Gap. I'm talking to my mum again. She's going to let me wear the toy helmet. I get to be the Unknown Soldier that I've always wanted to be, buggered ankle, weight problem, soiling problem and all. :D

Not really. It was a private hospital - I've got top cover in my health fund - it was more like a holiday resort. Private room with TV (not that I ever turned it on), air conditioning, my own personal shower and bathroom.

Although, the windows were rivetted shut because too many people had tossed themselves off the balcony.

They used to even have a pool - until someone drowned themselves in it.

Meals cooked for you - and good food too. Bacon and eggs for breaky. Steak for dinner.

St. John of God - Burwood.

It would have been fun except for the fact that I had depression and wanted to die most of the time!

British Crybaby. I've always want to say that, because it makes no sense. Germans make the best crybabies.

I'm proud to say that I'm a crybaby, like the real Schultz. I'm very humble.

a wishing thread seems to play
this game of wishes it just states
One wish to be made,
One goal to be had
an ideal just for me
a plan just for him
a wishing thread seems to play
just how long though do I wait?

Oh well that's better than I thought it would be (the accommodations, that is). :)
But the reasons for needing to be there still suck!
On tv they always show the people in psych wards as having a roommate, and that alone would make it miserable (unless the roommate were a cat).

I didn't even have Boo then. He wasn't even born. I wish I did have a kitty there.

The reasons for being there (apart from the separation)... You have NO IDEA - and you don't want to know - and I hope you never get to experience some of the stuff I've seen in my life to get you there Aurora. People can be so heartless to one another - I'm not just talking about my relationship. I'm talking about my previous career.

....

What people do to one another and to themselves is ATROCIOUS ! ! !

Cops (the show) is for kitties. Real life is spared from those who don't need to see it.
If you did, your world would be thrown into a tornado of horror!

What the eyes have seen, the mind cannot forget. And it tears you apart. The sadness. The innocent little children. The accidents.

And then to go through... I've said enough.

Tortured souls is all we are and no one knows fully, what we experience at the hands of human evil.

Germany and their people are #1 right now. A far cry from the Late 60s when they were the least popular. Maybe the present is better than the 60s in a way! :D

That's why I usually prefer animals over humans.

How old is Boo? Did you get him soon after you returned home?

Sorry. I was busy crying.

Boo? I got him in June last year I think. He was 3 months old. He was the reason why I got evicted from my top floor studio apartment.

Mind you, I'd be prepared to get kicked out of Buckingham Palace for Boo. We understand each other so well. Two boys living together alone. He can't speak but we communicate on a level that even astonishes me.

I use some cat language and he's learned some English and we seem to meet somewhere in the middle to the point where we have no trouble understanding each other. It's just me and Boo - for ages.

We communicate just fine!
