Tip of the day:

Standing still on a green ant nest doesn't work if your goal is not to get bitten many times.

LDS Church.

Used to live near one.

There's one in every major town pretty much. We have one here too.

I am sorry, that must have been rough. Just the idea of having to live in a place like that for that amount of time is terrifying.

Not really. It was a private hospital - I've got top cover in my health fund - it was more like a holiday resort. Private room with TV (not that I ever turned it on), air conditioning, my own personal shower and bathroom.

Although, the windows were rivetted shut because too many people had tossed themselves off the balcony.

They used to even have a pool - until someone drowned themselves in it.

Meals cooked for you - and good food too. Bacon and eggs for breaky. Steak for dinner.

St. John of God - Burwood.

It would have been fun except for the fact that I had depression and wanted to die most of the time!

LOL :)

Oh well that's better than I thought it would be (the accommodations, that is). :)
But the reasons for needing to be there still suck!
On tv they always show the people in psych wards as having a roommate, and that alone would make it miserable (unless the roommate were a cat).

I didn't even have Boo then. He wasn't even born. I wish I did have a kitty there.

The reasons for being there (apart from the separation)... You have NO IDEA - and you don't want to know - and I hope you never get to experience some of the stuff I've seen in my life to get you there Aurora. People can be so heartless to one another - I'm not just talking about my relationship. I'm talking about my previous career.

....

What people do to one another and to themselves is ATROCIOUS ! ! !

Cops (the show) is for kitties. Real life is spared from those who don't need to see it.
If you did, your world would be thrown into a tornado of horror!

What the eyes have seen, the mind cannot forget. And it tears you apart. The sadness. The innocent little children. The accidents.

And then to go through... I've said enough.

Tortured souls is all we are and no one knows fully, what we experience at the hands of human evil.

L I F E ! ! !

Sometimes some whining aspies reminds me of some ignorant yet ambitious Filipinos.

They have the same desire for success. And both thinks in order to be successful, they have to become foreign or at least acting or working at one.
Former thinks being themselves means you're a loser, and the later thinks being a native means you're worthless or poor. The former thinks their disability dictates them, the later thinks their birthright is cursed and so they are cursed.

Yet little do they know it requires sacrifice. And doing so is a gamble.
And when they did do what they thought what makes them happy, most of them ended up being miserable. Thinking acting alike is the means to solve all their struggles. They're dead wrong.

Difference is that it's a psychiatric struggle being crossed with economical struggle. But seriously?..

That's what happens when you live in an earlier time zone.

I'm more at peace with my mum and myself since I got home and she's letting me wear the helmet. If people ask why I have the helmet, my response will be "I support the war effort in the Middle East. What do you support?" I forgot the meaning of the word, relax as well.

I so want to somewhat live in the present with my spirit nationality and people being #1. I'll do it the Canadian way though. I'll listen to the new Canadian artists on Youtube.
