Yeah, that would be problem. Better to just leave it in his case.

Cockney is dignified, no matter what your interests are.

Cockneys are survivors.

Don't you have a SmartPhone?

Listening to music on a large device is very hard to do while working out. Yes I have a smartphone.

I can forecast that Mr. IBS is probably going to really get pissed off pretty soon. It's no wonder that my pharm class started with 25 students and now we have 5. Why is it that professors pile on the homework when an exam is coming? We have a big paper in APA format with 2 sources to cite due the day right before the exam. Plus, I work over the weekend so those days are out where the paper is concerned. Better get my Spaghettio diet in order and the blender ready so I can suck my dinner through a straw. At least I have my Ensure Clear that showed up from Amazon just in case the Spaghettios are too much. :|

On the upside? Just got back grades from my other class and received a perfect score so far on everything I've turned in. Woo Hoo!

"The Bastards"

$20 and 2 cans of Mortein later and there's still the odd ant walking around out there. They've got to be super ants.

You can't be immune to poison. I don't know what the hell's going on. This is like some kind of nightmare.

One thing I have noticed though (and I know it's just psychological but), when all the creepy crawlies were out there, whenever I had to visit nature, I never felt alone. I knew there was life all around me (even if it did want to crawl up to my privates and bite and sting me) but now, it just feels dead, empty. I feel alone somehow.

It certainly feels different.

I never feel totally alone in Nature!

With or without the creepy-crawlie types.

I'd much prefer it if those insects would just hang out with each other, not with me!

LOL Kraftie

One thing I have noticed since living alone. I never (or very rarely) get lonely or bored. At the risk of sounding conceited, I'm a party all to myself. Never a dull moment. I like my own sense of humour. I always manage to find ways to keep myself busy. Special Interests galore! Sometimes, too busy. Sometimes, I'll have 3 or 4 things going on at the same time and I'll switch from one to the other, depending on where I am in the house and if I see something or think of something that I can use in one of the other things I've got going on at the time, I'll switch!

But the one thing I have noticed since I've been living alone is, whenever I go up to the shops, I seem to have become far more chatty than I used to be. Now, I'll sit down on the seats, have a rest and talk to people. Some people are actually, really quite interesting if you listen to them (something I'm not usually good at doing).

I always was a 'chatty' person to strangers, cab drivers, people on the train station. But if they latch on and want to become friends, I back off.

I'm good for about the first 5 minutes and then I start to shy off and it starts to become uncomfortable.

It's not like I'm putting on an NT act or anything like that. I'm naturally "Active But Odd", but I can't stand prolonged interaction. I run out of things to say, lose interest in what they've got to say and start getting shy and just want to escape. Especially if they start latching on to me.

Yep....that's me: Active and Odd!

I'm probably less chatty than I used to be--sometimes, if I have something on my mind, I'm not even all that friendly. Though I don't want to ever appear nasty.

Indeed, I get sort of frightened if somebody wants to go beyond the momentary chat.

You sound a lot like me in this respect.

I never want to appear nasty either. In fact, quite often, I tolerate a lot and put myself out a lot to help people, even if I feel I'm being used and taken advantage of, which happens a lot. I usually prefer to just keep the peace. Anything for a simple life.

So, we're both 'Active But Odd' Aspies :) - I knew there was a reason why we get along so well :)

I've had some very enjoyable conversations on the subway.

I did a funny thing once: I actually wrote poems, and handed them to random woman on the subway. I got a pretty good response--most of the time.

There was this woman with whom I wanted to go "further"--but she didn't want that. Oh well!

I've even taken a couple of women home whom I met on the subway.

For lunch?

Nope.....this was way after dinner.

Lunch might have been cool, though.
