Why do you get in trouble when you arrive at the doctor's surgery late but the doctor can keep you waiting for an hour and that's alright?

Exactly. It's as if their time is more important than ours.

And if you don't show up to a specialist's appointment, they can still charge you.

He thought I should go to hospital and have an x-ray done on my ankle

Told you it was a heavy knife. He thinks it's broken my ankle bone

He gave me a local anesthetic and antiseptic

Aren't ambulances free in NSW like they are in QLD?

Nope. One day, I passed out (too much grog) in Chester Hill and an ambulance service took me home. It's like a 5 minute trip.

I forgot all about it and months later, I got some phenomenal bill in the mail.

I refuted it saying I'd never been in an ambulance. It wasn't like an ambulance. It was a bus ambulance type of thing.
I even filled out a stat dec swearing it wasn't me.

It wasn't until after they scrubbed the bill that I remembered. I thought someone had done a trip in my name.

The real ambulances might be free but I thought they were only free for people on Centrelink and the pension.
