I had health cover when I was with Kathy - when I went into St. John of God but we've been separated around 4 years now and she told me she was going to take me off the policy because she couldn't afford it.

I was in HFC - we had top cover. I don't know if she actually took me off it or not.

I just lit a cigarette back to front. I couldn't even taste it. I was wondering why it wasn't working.

Oh, OK.
Ambulances are free here as long as you're a QLD resident.
I had to call one last year for my partner and they were great.
We had 4 paramedics come - 2 were in training.
Of course, it wasn't so good once he was admitted to hospital - he virtually laid there for 3 days, ignored completely.
If he hadn't had me, he wouldn't have been able to eat or anything.
They didn't even clean him - it was horrible.

I'm not allowed to smoke.
I have lung disease.

Which hospital was that? It sounds like the Bankstown butchers (an affectionate term we locals give to the doctors of Bankstown hospital)

On occasion... I'm strongly considering moving outdoors for most of this year; I have my car but it's just for naps & hauling skis or bikes. I'll basically only go indoors to study or sleep. :roll:

Seriously I can survive on roots, cannabis stems & cacti longer than most people can tolerate staying on the internet. It's a race... :heart:

I live in the suburbs - so I don't get a chance to go bush but occasionally in Summer, I'll do what I call backyard camping. I'll set up a fire in the backyard, cook my dinner out there and either sleep in a tent or just on a quilt on the ground, under the stars. Mozzies are a killer though.

I LOVE it!

I'd love to get away from it all!

I love white noise - brown noise is good also.
