I was walking with some old geezers in the countryside, when I came upon this old concrete swimming pool in the middle of a forest garden... I went to the edge, and there were these weird pink and reddish whale things in there. My mind called them naguals, but I was thinking of narwhals. They all started jumping out of the pool, and they looked like they had no skin (hence the colour) and I was scared of them, but they were just really playful, so we were just running around and chasing each other and playing.

Amusingly, a nagual is (from wikipedia);

Quote:
In Mesoamerican folk religion, a Nagual or Nahual (both pronounced [na'wal]) is a human being who has the power to magically turn him- or herself into an animal form.

I've been reading Carlos Castaneda recently.

I also remember a brief dream where I appeared to be in a relationship with Superman/Clark Kent, from the 90's TV series. He was wearing a suit and getting in a car to leave us, and we were saying goodbye, and when he went I was really sad.

Pretty weird.

Neat!

The weirdest dream I ever had was the most realistic one. It answered a lot of questions.

i remembered a fragment of a weird one- i was in this humongous building made out of gray concrete blocks, it was as voluminous as an entire city block at least, and the top was too high for me to see all of it. inside was everybody i had ever encountered in my life, from birth to the present day. i didn't interact with any of 'em, as they were too busy talking with each other in little cliques, none of which i was invited to join. on the outside at ground level, there was a dark covered passageway recessed partially into the building, with a concrete overhang. there were branches coming out of the concrete flooring and out of the concrete walls, i had to step over or duck under these branches as i walked away from the building.

finally i reached the open area away from the massive building, and it was a grassy goatpath forward from there. then a skateboard materialized out of nowhere, and i was skateboarding through the goatpath as though it were paved. after several effortless miles, i found myself at a bit of civilization, a strip mall where i walked into one glassed-in coffee shop minus any coffee, it had all been removed and what was left was a medium-sized empty space with some people i vaguely remembered from earlier in my life, from workplaces and on trips to different places.

i stuck around just watching these other people socialize, then i exited the room , got back on my skateboard and took off back for the humongous building i left a while back. off in the distance, i noticed the goat path morphing into a broad paved lane, and some fancy expensive cars sped on by me in a hurry, their wake nearly blowing me into a ditch. just as soon as the cars zoomed off into the distance behind me going god-knows-where, the paved road shrank back into the goat path it was. then i awoke.

I had a bad dream last night. I dreamed I went to a store to buy a CD instead of bootlegging it or buying online the cheapest way. I haven't bought CDs from a store in like 10years. Why the hell would I dream about it. I couldn't find it either

maybe it was a distant, long-forgotten memory of an actual excursion to a CD store when you were much younger. just a thought.

nostalgia? [not for the practice but for when you were a younger person in general, i.e., better days]

I had a dream last night where I was on vacation in Rio de Janeiro, and there was a presidential motorcade by the hotel I was staying at. Upon closer look, the president of Brazil was Pat Harrington, who played Schneider on One Day at a Time.

Last night I had my phone confiscated in a youth hostel in Poland then left it behind by mistake. I was considering flying back to retrieve the phone or insisting that the people at the guesthouse post it because it was their fault that I didn't have it on me. I was learning Polish last night, that's only connection I think of for the dream

I dreamed I was trying to find a drug dealer & saw these two cougars(or similar type animals) fighting each other. They spoke English too. Very odd considering I've never done illegal drugs & I'm straight edge but I feel like I'm stoned or something today

i dreamt that i was in outer space, on a giant bed that was floating high above the moon, over the boundary between the light and dark sides. the bed was inside some kind of optical bubble that provided illumination and that also served as a boundary for the artificial atmosphere and gravity that allowed me to function on the bed without suffocating or floating away into space. the bed had a thick gray quilt atop it, and i got the impression it was the size of a house, and i was on the very front left corner of the bed. the optical bubble enabled me to see the earth in normal size but it tremendously magnified the International Space Station and one other heretofore secret space station manned by a husband-and-wife pair, whose sole purpose was to keep track of the movements of cats down on earth.

i spent most of my time spying on the goings-on at the ISS, and i was amazed to see how developed it had become, to the point of its surface being totally covered by a small city in tunnel-connected modules, all with artificial gravity and atmosphere. i was also amazed to see automobiles zipping around these interconnected modules. i zoomed in on one car, a two-toned green and beige 1972 ford f-150 pickup truck, the hood was open and i could see a supercharger mounted on the engine, and the thought came into my head that the blower was necessary to compensate for the thin artificial atmosphere so the engine would run properly. that made sense to me. i also zoomed in on a cream-and-caramel-colored 2004 chevy impala with the blower hood scoop also mounted on it.

i spied some people playing tennis in one module- the court was lighted with non-localized lighting, perhaps by exciting the ambient molecules of oxygen in the module. there were no obvious light fixtures supplying the lighting anywhere on the station, yet it was lit like high noon. my attention was drawn back to the bed, where a large suitcase materialized out of nowhere, and i opened it and found inside a little gray blanket and a map. i covered myself in the blanket and just as i was about to open the map, a woman i knew only in this particular dream, walked behind me and bounced, which caused me to tip over and the suitcase and map went over the side of the bed, and i quickly jumped over the side to retrieve the suitcase before it left the forcefield. at that point i awoke, before i got to see the map. drat.

I dreamed I was on my daily routine and on my spare time I took out this sketchpad and began to draw.

really.. good..

draw really good. Like those super detailed background mangas good.

While I drew I remember being in a bored and not so impressed frame of mind.. 'meh' type mentality.

Then I woke up.

... I can't draw a stick figure if my life depended on it. Guess my brain was having its own fantasy vacation time while I slept :P

Haha, cats.

What a marvellous dream!

Here's a few vague blibs and blobs of interpretation.

Space: freedom; limitlessness; expansion; alien experiences; the unknown
Moon: unconscious or subsconscious; feelings; reflection; indirect knowings; feminine principles
Light and Dark sides: balance of male and feminine energies; harmony of opposites; yin yang, Boaz & Joachim; husband and wife?
Illumination: clear seeing; knowledge
Cat: mystery; the feminine; sexuality

I had a dream the other day that was literally symbolic.

I remember this one quite vividly. I drew it. Its meaning is 'as above, so below'

Image

Then I recall dreaming about the Magician and Devil card in the tarot. The symbol seems like a very simplified version of the magician, with one arm raised to the heavens, and one pointing to the earthly plane.

Image

The devil's gesture is similar, but with the open hand being a negation of the existence of spiritual realms.

Image

I didn't really get a sense of what dreaming about them means. Just that they were there.
