And the next opponent is Ghidorah.

Sorry, no one gets to mention the Godzilla universe without me mentioning Ghidorah  (not so long as I am aware of the mention, anyway)

Would include pic, but I don’t think I can do that from my iPad, which is what I’m presently on.

Georgia officials warn of 4-foot-long invasive lizards that eat 'anything they want'

Georgia’s Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is warning residents that an invasive species of giant lizards has established in the state, posing a threat to wildlife and crops because they eat “anything they want.”

Officials said that they’re working to eradicate the spread of Argentine black and white tegus. The lizards can grow to four feet long and weigh upward of 10 pounds, making it easily mistaken for a baby alligator.

We had a black and white tegu in the classroom of my Student Naturalist class in high school (no idea if he was Argentine or not). I can verify that they are quite large and will eat whatever moves and is convenient. (But this was in Kansas, and he only went outside on the few occasions that some of the animals were taken to the courtyard for some fresh air and a fun break for the students. Only thing I witnessed him eat while he was out there was a cicada.)
