They did an experiment with beer alone and mixing beer with spirits.

Grant isn't much of a drinker apparently but hid did better with the mix. Less of a hangover.

Hmm. Interesting.
Perhaps why I don't usually get much of a hangover?
I usually start with cider, then move to wine and finish up with spirits.

I mostly prefer female singers.

I never get hangovers any more. Or rarely.

How are you travelling? Have you had dinner?

I'm getting stuck into my posh $9 wine again.

I had cheese and crackers.
Does that count as dinner?

What did you have?

Nothing. I rarely eat when I'm imbibing.

I had a huge chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo sandwich for lunch when I was in Parramatta today. I'm not hungry.

I don't think so. I've got some corn chips there. I might get stuck into them later on.

OH WOW - I've got Homebrand chicken nuggets in the freezer. Woo Hoo!

Homebrand stuff is good. And cheap. I might fry them up later on.

I'd better be careful though. I don't have a good record with drinking and frying.

I don't know how I got onto it but one YouTube video leads to another. I originally started out looking up videos of real life hauntings and somehow wound up on a video about the monster, Myra Hindley. What an evil monster.

You can bake chicken nuggets in the oven.
Or grill them.
Safer than frying when under the influence.

I don't like beastly stories.
Or horror movies.
I do have an obsession with death, though.

^ The lyrics in that song are all about mental illness, so it struck a chord with me.

Me neither. I couldn't watch it. It disgusted me and I turned it off. I'd never heard of her before.

Horror movies don't bother me. I know they're fictitious. There's no such thing as people coming back to life and killing people.

But when you see real life horror. That cuts me to the bone and destroys me.

Funny you should say that. I've been researching near death experiences lately. Ever see the movie Flatliners with Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon & Julia Roberts?

I used to be so scared of dying, I ruined my 30th Birthday. I thought, "That's it! I'm officially an old man and I'm going to die soon!"

How wrong I was but it's something that I've had to deal with - the fact that I'm going to die one day and I don't want to - and I'm extremely curious as to what happens to us after we go.

After all of my research, I've come to believe that all of peoples' accounts of their near death experience is just manifested by their minds.

No two are the same.

Wouldn't you think if it were real, there'd be one experience - the SAME experience shared by everyone?

That's why I think it's based on the individuals life experiences and hormones/chemicals released in the body that effect the body and the brain.

There can't be so many different ways of going for us all.

I don't think they're lying. I just think when the brain's in that state, it displays stuff to them that's based on their life experiences.

I prefer to remain under the influence of the arts of deep frying solely in times of necessity...

That's why I don't own a TV, radio, read the news papers or listen to the news.

There's this woman at work who delights in telling me sad real life news events.

I told her about how I got rid of all media out of my life because I can't stand any more, reading or hearing about REAL LIFE stuff - but she insists on telling me. I think if she persists, I may have to report her.

She seems to get some kind of delight out of it and she has NO IDEA of the stuff I've seen in my life!

:(
